    SOIL Help is everything ok???

Hello everyone! I have got my first grow on the go 4 midnight express and one purple kush I think from a friend. Make shift tent I made haha with tin foil etc. Light is a hps with digital ballast that has been on 400w but up to 600 now and plant aaround 24inch from light. I have 230v fan with carbon filter but not directly at plantsz. I did not want to use nutes as I wanted a natural no chemical grow and all that bla bla. started germinating on the 27th April. All autos. The picture are from this morning so the boys have only been awake about an hour. I had one slightly yellow leaf that may have been from being to close to the light about 8days but it doesn’t seem to have spread. I water about .5l a day atm but depends on how heavy my pot is and how dry etc But any thoughts / reccomendations is appreciated me know. Peace.

I can't see the real color of the plants under that light; take a picture in natural light.

Lower leaves yellow means the plants are hungry. You can't not feed cannabis if you want big buds.
Anyone can grow schwag. If you want to grow top shelf bud, study hard: https://www.growweedeasy.com

Lets hope for girls instead of boys! IF you want to grow completely unbottled organic, you will have to build your own soil as I do.
        Check out this thread
It is spring in the northern hemi, time to get things growing. These pics from yesterday morning after transplanting the day before, sun was just up. Here we have a BB3, GG4, DGD and SSK, I have 2 more that go here, and 6 more for the GF. As I get the soil built, and the plants moved into it, I will get pics of them. I also

I build my soil using stuff around the farm (rabbit shit, ground leaves, a bit of sand (silica and iron)), then add blood and bone meal, dolomite and pelleted sulfur (these 2 balance PH), and dont forget the perlite.

Cheers r wise man just subscribed I am in the northern hemisphere too but unfortunately do not have the space outdoors away from people as it is the uk! But I have my eye on a place with 1/4 acre so hopefully it won’t be too long before I’m outside but I fear due to the climate a ruderalis gene is needed but you may correct me on that

I'll let those that live in your climate give the answers to that. I'll just say there are methods of extending a grow season.

Any plant will eventually need nutes. Without them you’ll have a small, sickly plant with larf buds unless you use some type of super soil that feeds itself. With your watering, you’d be better off to wait until your pots feel completely dry and light and then give a good soaking. If you’re watering daily there’s a good chance the roots at the bottom of the pot are being drowned.

I’ve got them in smart pots I think they are 15 litres I use them for my other gardening and found them really good! I hope they are not boys haha should have said woken the girls up my friend assured me they are seeds purchase online from a seed bank. I hope I am not overwatering I have been checking and lifting and see how much they are draining down but I will heed the advice on letting them go slightly drier! I appreciate everything about nutrients and I am not necessarily in it for the fattest juiciest buds although I would love that I just wanna see if the taste is much different without use of any chemical nutes and haven’t got my shit together for organic feed atm! But thank you guys once again and i will try and get these photos up
