Too high CFM for 5x5 tent??

Good night guys, will running an 8 inch 750 cfm vent kit with controller be too much for a 5x5x8 grow tent? I knew that a minimum of 200 cfm was necessary but went with the 8 over the 6 thinking bigger would be better. Plus, there wasn't much of a price difference. Not until I received it did I realize I may have made a mistake. The inline fan and carbon filter are BIG. If it's going to create problems, I'll return it for a 6 inch 400 cfm kit. Appreciate your advice, thanks!

Honestly, I think 750 CFM a bit much for a 5x5. I think you would be fine with the 6". I'm running a cheap 6" (220 CFM rated) in my 4x4 and it works great. I will probably upgrade the fan when this one gives up, but for now it works perfectly. Hope that helps

Thanks dphipps1020, I think the 6" will be better too. Take it easy!

I think a 6" would suffice. I use a 6" variable in my 4x4 and turned all the way down it still creates more than enough negative pressure in the tent.

FunkyButtLovin The pressure is my main concern. I read about it actually tearing tents. I'll definitely be changing it for a 6". Thanks man, have a good one!
