It's drowning. extremely over watered. let it dry out before you water it again.

Stagnant water kills roots not running oxygenated water.

It's basically finished (not in the good way). - from the same basic growing problems that bite/bit a lot of us in the beginning, especially the ones that didn't have books or internet. Don't lose sleep over it. Toss this one out and start over with better fluffier soil or some other growing medium with perlite in it. Read some 'how to grow' tutorials and keep it simple and you'll grow some bud.

In addition to the above link, here is another one, that is really good for a beginner. Sorry, but ditch that plant, read up, and start over. You'll get there.

How can you tell it was grown 12/12 from seed?

Edit- sounds like you had a bad experience...

I sure hope the O P comes back to thread and clears some things up here. He, or she, had to know the plant had a ripe bud.

Definitely -might as well save the bud before tossing it.
The plant is pretty much a write-off though. Unless you have absolutely no access to more seeds and want to put it into intensive rehab, or let it live and slowly increase in size to produce a tiny bit of bud. Better to start new.

All in all one of my most successful and highest yielding plants, factoring in the size and growing time, was one grown 12/12 from seed in a solo cup. Actually inch for inch it may have been the highest yielding plant I've grown. Not that I'm a yield junkie. Still it sometimes almost makes me think I should be switching from big plants down to 12/12 from seed in cups (I'm mostly kidding-but not completely). But it's a subject for another thread.

My first set ot plants half are autos halt feminized/normal and have had them under led lights 24/7. They consist of one GSC, rest are Pineapple Kush,Neville Haze, White Widdow Max, THC Bomb, THSnow, Mazar, and Mango. I lost my purple hulks and ak47 when thermostat blew and mat cooked the seeds. Even though the autos dont depend on much light I figured I still keep them running 24/7 for the others. Hopefully they wont hit 5 feet from 8 inches in the next 3 weeks. The tents only 5 feet tall which ill correct with a 7 foot tall one once I get my shed. Im limited in space at moment. I would of cut the light time to slow the growth down but worried ill kick in flower mode too early.

If your starting over you might want to check this over so you can catch issues before they start. Get a ph test drops or pen and a water/light/ph tester too so you dont overwater again.
Learn how to easily adjust pH up and down if needed for your cannabis grow. It helps prevent nutrient deficiencies!
