Temp below 50f for about 6 hours

So my grow room dropped to like 43-45 at one point during lights out because of my new exhaust fan.
I guess because my new fan is to strong an sucks cold air from every crack in my shed.. i think i got it sorted out an temps are stayin about 72-75 lights on. Not sure during lights out, got a heater helping during lights out.. dont do nothin when lights are on cause my exhaust fan sucks so much cold air in ,the heater does just about nothin.. so i put fan on a timer so every 3 hours when lights are off the fan will kick on for 30 mins just to circ air. An hopefully the heater will keep it warm enough with the fan off... only problem is i have a veg tent with a passive exhaust from the tent to main room an with door closed it sucks good ,to much acctually.. tryin to keep my tent warm.. tryin to seal all the cracks an stuff up cause my 1500 watt heater cant keep up with fan on... any ideas.. i can draw a diagram if needed.. anyway my planta were really really droopy yesterday. My question are they gonna die? Or will they be ok.. how long will it take to recover? They were drooping worse then ever..

A drawing or a photo would help in visualizing you set up. Is the exhaust fan discharging to the outside of the shed or from just the tent inside of the shed?

invest in a speed controller for your fan its a must have (in my opinion) you can get a cheap one on amazon for 15 bucks in Canada .. are they still drooping ???? they should recover i live in northern Ontario and have some friends that grow outside in sheds and in the winter the put down a heated blanket and keep it around 65 f and there plants always look great just a thought post some pics tho it will help every one help you

The fan is in my main/soon to be flower room. I reduced it from 8 to 6inch an ran like 6 feet or pipe with a few bends in it. From the room to the tent i have a 4inch passive exausht so to speak.. with the main/flower room door shut i get really good suction for exhaust.. to good for winter really.. an just leave one bottom vent for air.. its sucki g in so much air thru every crack an crevice its crazy.. having a hard time keeping both rooms warm or even bearable for the ill draw somethin when i get home to give u a better idea.. its an 8inch apollo fan an it does have a speed controller.. however all the way down is still to much!!!

I'm not sure if the plants will live or die. But what I have seen done is running your veg tent 24 hours (of light) in the winter for the heat. Then the flower tent and fan you can use a small space heater (or what ever you have) then run your fan on a minute by minute timer. Here is an example during the winter run a 6" fan for 1 minute and off for 5 minutes. Summer one for 3 minutes and off for 2 minutes. Or something like that. You can search for a minute by minute timer on amazon I think its about $15. Also put all but one of your circulation fans on your light timer in your flower tent. I hope all goes well with your plant and room! Oh also you can get an Inkbird temp controller for about $35 on amazon. I think it will only do 1100 watts though.

The 4 inch pipe from tent to room is to exhaust the tent an i leave the bottom vent on the tent open for intake.. i have a 4inch hole for intake i the flower room but had to seal it up because with the new fan it was freezing, now should i cut another 4inch hole into the big room the tent is in or use the exhaust from the tent as an i take..?because if i keep the heat in the tent room it will heat the tent but in the other room will only heat that.. so if i cut a second hole up high shoukd pull some of the warmer air in... in tjeory

We definiaty need a drawing of your set up. Sizes of rooms being used. Sizes of tents being used. How far apart the rooms are from one another. Where your duct pipes are ran. Where are your intakes and exhaust are for both flower and veg. The size and type of your lights. Pics of the rooms and plants will help also.

Ok so herez what im running.. its a shed split into 2 rooms first soon as u walk in is a 6x8 x8room roughly (pretty close tho) with a 3x3 tent running a mars 700 an a mars 96 reflector (veg tent) , i also built a small 2x2 cabinet sealed for seed starting (will have 6-12 ,23 watt cfls havent decided the flower room is 3.5x8x8 with a 600watt hps an a 400 watt mh. Also the 8inch apolli fan is in there. Soon as u walk in to the right. Mounted to the back wall exhausting outside thru the wall on the righr hand side, currently i have an 8x6 reducer on the fan with a piece of the rigid flex duct . Runs over about 2 foot an up about 3 (tryinf to rexuce air flow). The tent is about 3 foot from the dividing wall. So about a 3 foot run.. there is a 4inch intake hole on the far end of the flower room that i sealed up. But now the fan seems to be sucking so much cold air in thru the main room the heat cant keep up when twmps outside get below 30.. im working o. Sealing the cracks an stuff better in the room the veg tents in everything is insulated/covered with plywood except the ceiling in the room the veg tent is in. Its only insulated.. alot of the problem is around the main door needs some weather stripping.. but with fan sucking so hard where should i pull intake from now? Been leaving door cracked for heat to be in both rooms but after i flip to flowrr doors gonna need to be shut.. gonna take pics an draw a diagram when i get home..

The mars light in the veg tent is a LED right? What is your light cycle for your veg? And a timer is going to be a must for your fan, because I don't figure your pull in warm air with your 8" fan. (It sounds like the shed isn't attached to a heat source)

I would switch the veg to 24 hours lights on. That might help your heat problem in there for now.

Reducer narrow intake from 6 to 4 inches that should reduce cold air vol. is the exaust going out side of shed? Need more info but reducers are cheep and easy way to increase or decrease air flow.peace

I use a 8 inch to 6 inch reducer and speed adjuster. works for me.
