Ok, bold move and bold action . Being home 6 days a week and still having responsibilities out in the other world, I have attended about 8 different zoom meetings. Several were very large conferences with several hundred people and 4 were strictly cannabis topics. Some were only slide presentations and others looked like the old Hollywood Squares with video images of each participant in a box. When the person speaks, the box lights with a yellow frame around it. You can choose to keep your camera off so the only thing you see is a black box and a name inside it....any name you choose.. Some were a 1/2 hour, a few were 1 hour and some were 2 hours long. Two of the cannabis meetings were $5.00 but the host was in Canada so my fee was $3.75. The software is a free download and I still don’t know how to work it but each meeting was great

i am wondering who here might enjoy a video visit with each other?

I think it’s a cool idea, I enjoy watching YouTube videos of growers discussing topics in real time without the “I’m right and you’re wrong” bulls**t. Just a bunch of growers sharing their experiences while enjoying nature’s bounty.

That’s what’s great about the forum here.... the difference is that it’s real time audio and video if you choose to show yourself or even just a picture of anything and with no camera on, it’s just a black rectangle with audio when that person speaks or unmutes

I do not have a camera on my computer so I will not partake but it's a great idea for those techies

Actually, you wouldn’t need one... you would be represented by a black rectangle with a name you choose to use

The only thing I’ve paid for using zoom was a cannabis lecture for 2 hours...any other zoom stuff is free for the charge i]on your phone or computer. I had a guy wanted some clarity on some sheet music....zoom. We could discuss anything that has an interest to people online. I can show you my tiller!!
