    Hydroponic nutrients question

Hi guys i have a question for flora trio nutriens.i see that sirius was using it plus cal mag.
so what are the ppm or EC of the base water?
and what are the ppm or ec.of your flower water?
In coco or rock wool ?
    thanks in front

Your base water is the water you're using without nutrients or anything added. Use your meter to test without and that's your base water's PPM/EC. I usually go off what the bottle says, cut in half and go from there (for hydro, I don't mix nutrients for my soil). If your plants show they need more nutrients, feed more. If they show signs of nutrient burn, feed less. Take notes of how much you're feeding and the PPM/EC levels and you can use that as a reference for your next grow. Different stages and sizes of the plants will usually change how much you feed. Hope that helps.

Thanks.i use RO water it starts 60ppm.i follow the schedule on flora on 10L of water and it comes out 1164ppm.it shows nut burn.
now am trying trying on 930ppm it looks better.
      but its less than recommended.
      am using rockwool.
this all is flora series 3 part.i was seeing nebula last grow lec vs led.
      They use flora+calmag.
they got very good results.but they never put feeding schedule.
      is there an optimum range

I have found that using the flora series in DWC using the recommended feeding schedules gives me serious nutrient burn. I start off at 1/3 recommended and "Slowly" work up. I keep detailed notes so that I can replicate or fix any issues on the next grow.
Cal Mag, Hydroguard and Armor SI I use at full recommended strength (really screwed up my grows this season by using the same percentage of these three as the flora series.
Once I started flowering I worked up to half strength and a little more.

I'm currently using future harvest, but start off with a 50/50 recommendation for the base nutrients and with R/O water (5ppm) bring it up to approximately 1050, with a tipoff reservoir PPM of 550ppm, works for me. Cal Mag and any other nutrients I will add at full strength.

I've done pretty well just using city tap water, nutrients at half strength and a pH adjustment after mixing. I've got an EC pen I inherited from another grower, but I'm a bit too lazy to use it! The nute program I use has calcium and magnesium already in them. (The tap water has a good amount of calcium carbonate dissolved in it too.) I use the same kind of formulation for the DWC totes and for the bucket I feed the moms and babies from.
