If those are photos, I would top them so they will spread out a bit.
I normally veg/train my plants till they hit the 1st trellis @ 13" and then flip to flower.
I spread them out further as they stretch to the 2nd trellis @ 25"
Most strains end up around 3' when they finish.

I'd top (FIM) over lst anyday
just avoid doing so in rainy weather or cool temps like 55-65F/ 16c
