A dispensary was getting closed down when I was driving back from mine. Cops were all over the place with AR-15's or M-16's. They're the same thing if you can pull a quick trigger. That makes me so fucking angry that they send a fucking SWAT team to close a dispensary. I'll bet you all the shatter I have that all it would take is maybe four uniformed cops and a warrant to walk in and just tell the people to shut down.
I'm alright with most cops. But show me one with a raised assault rifle, pointed at small group of people, and I freak out. I must say I almost pulled over and told the cops with the guns to fuck off. Dare the cop to take a shot. Twice, I've had guns put in my face while delivering pizza. I am not afraid of being shot. It will kill me or it won't. If it doen't, I will erase the person who shot me. I am an extremely passive fellow as well as a big fan of guns. But fucking goddamn what they think they have to do to close down a dispensary!!! Maybe they thought they were up against a phalanx of Mark-19's and Metal Storm guns, operated by a bunch of dirty, dope smoking hippies.
Goddamn I'm angry! Bloody fucking angry! Hate to say this, but fuck those long-gun yielding motherfucking cops. In my little community, there will be no fewer than three lit-up cop cars surrounding a homeless person, should there be a complaint about said homeless person.
I understand 'overwhelming force' when it comes to taking a military action. Cops are not military and should not act as if they are invading an enemy country.

You should have been here when they came in after this dude I had working for me. 1/4 mile of black cars, and more assault riffles than I cared to count. One (big phat LEO) stood by me while I tended the grill. And the next day they came back in a helicopter taking pics, some places no more than 10 feet off the ground.

Maybe it was a social distance raid. Local dispensaries are not large.

The times I've been at the Frankfort (Germany, not Kentucky) airport there have been automatic weapon carrying soldiers, trying not to look too conspicuous in a crowd of non-gun toting civilians. That's a pretty powerful sight. Today was more powerful. Four fucking cops could have walked in. Slapped down a warrant or search an seizure or whatever. Checked everybody's ID. Let go those who do not need to be arrested. Arrest those who do. Talk to the owners. Levy fines. Lock the doors and have Homeland Security come take their evidence. It could have been done with four of our retired senior people's volunteer community service people.

You do fucking not pull a fucking military assault rifle on civilians who are not fucking armed and, in many cases, are on their knees with their backs to you and their hands on their heads.

I'd be interested in the whole story - Whether it's keystone cops or some halfway legitimate reason or...Uncle Gavin not getting his cut. It does sound pretty ridiculous though.

If you live here, these 'stories' are not as far out as they seem.

1. If your storefront can be seen from the street, you're going to get busted.
2. If traffic to your store gets enough complaints from neighbors, busted. If too many dispensary customers park in another business's'es's shared parking, complaint, busted.
3. Fines levied are usually the amount of money the store has on hand. The cities could make way more money by licensing shops.
4. Don't even consider opening within such a distance of a school, church, or other house of wholesomeness.
5. Don't advertise your shop. Only have a sign shaker out front and a green lit street address.
6. Lawyers are filing postponements for their dispensary owning clients. Ergo, no punishment for as long as they can file. Just lawyer money.

It will. A favorable government will make it happen faster. Join a NORML chapter if there is one nearby. Start one if there isn't. We got a very liberal medical program started by getting an amendment to the state constitution which is the only reason I can grow legally! Keep the faith.

At this level, it has nothing to do with the feds. The feds aren't raiding or pocketing money. The feds are allowing California to make their own decisions. California is allowing counties and cities and suburbs to do their own thing. Texas does it with dry, damp, and wet counties. No booze. Beer and wine, only. Or anything goes. I can see that. Maybe a store sells only weed. Only up to a certain percent THC in a product. Weed and vapes, only. You got the gist. It would make stores get better quality control on their products. Local economy boosts. Small business. Gourmet. You want a stinky bud, go to a 'cheese' shop. Looking for diesel? Head to the gas station.


If you don't have a pet, take your pillow for a walk. Please take a selfie. A genuine selfie of one of you good folk walking a pillow will go on my wallpaper.
