Different grows, different post

So I've decided to create a new post. Some of you have already been following some of my grows I have going but for those that haven't, here's a link to the previous post https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum/growing-community/378920-update-on-my-grows
I ordered a 315 CMH light and it should be here Wednesday. May order another next week some time for the big tent. Ultimately I'd like to have 3-4 in there but we'll see how things go. Not sure which light I will be replacing yet but it may just be one of the LEDs for now. Should make it a little easier to see everything better and hopefully more light than I've had in there so I should get better yields too. Thinking about replacing all my lights with CMH lights but I'll have to see how I like them first. So I've pretty much thinned out everything that's flowering or just going into flower. Most of the ladies in the big tent are about a week into flower now and getting huge! The tallest ones in soil are just over 40" tall, shorter ones aren't far behind. Haven't measured the hydro ones in there yet but they're pretty tall too. So I'm not sure if you guys can see it from the pictures but I tried to lollipop them. Not sure if I did it right or not. Thoughts or input on that would be appreciated. I can take them out and get better pictures if needed. I still have 2 ladies from the last cycle still finishing up, probably 1-2 weeks left. The "beast" in the 4x4 tent is just starting week 5 in flower. Clones have white dots poking out all down the stem, not too much longer there hopefully. Also decided to keep a male (GG) for collecting pollen and crossbreeding. Figure it will be a good father strain for a few of my others. Probably going to mix it with a Straight Lemonade, and Blueberry Headband to start with. I feel like the high and the flavor will be intense, not to mention I think the GG genetics will make fatter buds and increase the yields a little bit. We'll see I guess, right? Enjoy the weed porn!

Is there such a thing as too many pics of beautiful plants? That Beast is a Beast forsure. Should be a good producer. Nice bud in this post. Not sure if it's the light or the bud but beautiful colors. Good job forsure.

It's partially the light. There's no purple on it yet. I'll take it out in a bit and get a more natural picture to post. Was in a hurry last night, trying to get pictures before the lights went out.

Jordann here's those 2 in more natural light.

Thanks. Not really, they both have their advantages. The amended soil is as easy as watering and watching her grow. Also get really good flavor and aroma from soil. Only main disadvantage is that they grow a bit slower. Hydro has faster growth but you have to mix nutrients every time you top off or change the water and that can get pricey. Haven't really had a good harvest with hydro yet so I can't really say what the taste and smell difference is. Another month or so and I should hopefully know the answer there. I feel like I'm leaning more towards soil mostly because of the ease and cost difference though, smell and flavor are a plus too. Pretty much decided I'm going to do soil in all but one tent and that tent will have one giant girl by herself in hydro.

So, speaking of my hydro girls, I took some pictures of the ones in the big tent. I can't take them out because they're so big, and the systems are big too, but I did take everything out of the way. I've already defoliated the hydro ones twice and they're getting to that point again I think (the leaf pictured is from one of them). I wanted to show them by themselves though so you can all see the difference. Also, I took pictures of the other girls while they were out so you guys can see them individually. I didn't really do anything except quadlining and a little LST on all of them and they all have 8+ colas on them. Tried to get decent pictures of the manifolds so you guys can see what I did. 4 months so far and I have most of my ladies taller than 30", they were all germinated/cloned middle of December. Maybe some of these will help a few of you out with your manifold techniques, I know there's been a few asking about it.

Did some training on the veg tent today. Fit all but one back in my 4x4 so into the flower tent she goes. I really wanted to grow her more first, oh well. It's an unknown strain anyway. Cleaned them up a lot and left what I want to grow taller, with about the right spacing I hope. Now I just need to water and watch them grow. Figuring about the time I harvest the beast, these should be ready to split up. Either way I'll be running out of room really fast. I hope some of these pictures will help people with starting a manifold from the quadlining technique. Will have to clean them up again later but it should give me a nice base to start with. I like doing it this way because it saves the recovery time of topping a 2nd time, seems to shave off at least 3 weeks from the total grow. Guess we'll see how fast I run out of room. Will probably only have room for 3-4 in each tent and 4 will probably be pushing it.

So I got my light today and put it in and I'm pretty stoked about it. As a matter of fact I ordered 2 more (for now) just a little while ago. I feel like a light upgrade is what I really need to increase my yields drastically. Going to replace the HPS light in the big tent and the LED over the beast when I get the next 2. 2-3 more will replace everything else except for my seedling tent. Should keep my electricity bill about the same just with better light and higher yields. I replaced one of the LEDs for now, left the other 2 and the HPS in.

About 3 weeks into flower for most of the ladies in the big tent now. I feel like the Mocha OG is going to be my first one done and maybe highest yielding out of all the strains flowering. Just how fast the buds are already growing and how big they are makes me think that.
