    Drying issues

Hey guys, here i come again.
this is not the first time i face that probleme.
bloody mold again at drying time. Is it mold due to 5oo much moisture or humidity ( its been raining heap the last few days before harvest and i didn t protect them) or its a fungus caused by the moisture/humidity that spread on the buds. It kind of looks like a spiderweb and then it turn brown and soft?
    any ideas?
    cheers

Hi Flow, You can't leave your plants unprotected in flower when there's lots of humidity: all your effort and money go down the drain. Sounds like you need a big de-humidifier for your grow room--like a 50-pint one. That's what I have for my grow room.

What ^^ said. Get the best you can afford. All the time and effort to see them damaged/ruined at the end. Can't let that happen.

50% RH during drying. Higher than 55% will cause issues and flavor will suffer. Or you lose the entire crop completely. Invest in a decent sized dehumidifier. Just make sure to size the dehumidifier properly for the room size and application. Better to buy an oversized dehumidifier rather than an undersized one. Good luck for next time.

Yeah thanks guys. These plants were grown outside. And drying just inside the house in open air really. Was just a very bad week with the weather, it was very wet anx humid
i trimmed all the bad part and discard all the nearby bud and dry them quickly. I ll try to keep better control next time. I ll get dehumidifier aswell for the grow for this winter as its fairly humid.
well i d say i like to learn the hard way.

Yeah that was alright at the end. Just trimmed the moldie bits and still harvested about 10oz out of 2 plants. I can t grow indoor in summer it gets too hot in my shed and i can t control the temperature

Try a swamp cooler. If humidity is also low. I use one in the summer and it really helps.
