Good Morning Friends... you guys have been a powerful source of mental restoration for me. I ve been able to read up on several things all of us have interests in or are currently doing, continue expanding my knowledge of a great subject and go outside and get a few things wrapped up. I thought I might mention a few things that have re-surged from my previous life, so to speak.
i live on a small 17acre parcel in the north, raised 5 kids with my wife who I now know 45 years. This wild overgrown fiefdom has been neglected to a point where there are still trees that have fallen out in the woods just from age, storms or rot....Life gets in the way and as a musician, some great things come along occasionally and some don’t.
Last year my small garden tractor ( you’ll NEVER guess what brand it is) power take off unit broke down with some bad drive components so I’ve spent 3 days repairing this. I need to get out in the woods and cut some stuff up and drag it back to the splitter. I mounted a few more outdoor cameras to keep an eye on the dogs when I hear a commotion going on. It took us 22 years to get cable tv once the entire town had it 35 years ago. Their approach was, we can get 20 customers with a 1/2 mile of wire, with you, we can get 1 customer more with almost 1 mile of cable. Thing is, once we got it...it was ridiculously high speed so connectivity works . The iPad just clicks over to a series of thumbnails and I can see who’s starting a problem. Like the casinos
‘’having restored cars an motorcycles for a few decades I had bought a welder 30 yrs ago, never really got it down well until a few years ago but in the last few months, I have been a metal fabrication shop. My next smoker will be a smaller version of a gravity feed cabinet I made 5 yrs ago. That one weighed over 700 lbs and even on wheels, I couldn’t move it more than a few feet. That one looked like a giant refrigerator.
my next project needs to be pulling out that old roto-tiller and get that engine running. Garden season is approaching faster and having fresh vegetables this summer will be a priority. I hope this little insight have created a diversion the the events of the last weeks... now excuse me while I watch the same re-play of last nights news, over and over and over again. Then, I get to watch ANY Elizabeth Taylor movies my wife loves...over and over and over

then I transplanted some burning bush (those leaf red bush in the fall ) these were shoots I been nursing from last spring put them in some bare spots around the fences. Hubby rode the riding mower through the rain LOL he can't let the grass grow 2" and me and the dogs and kitties all made supper. Chicken soup for our soul and grilled cheese sammies. Beautiful time of year here, so glad to have a hippie greenhouse to play in.
