It's time to harvest! I'm taking down the strawberry cough. It's about in the middleague of the harvest period. With mostly milky, some clear, few amber. I actually prefer more amber, but it won't have any of my waiting around. Shes been pushing out bananas like crazy, so I need to get her down before she contaminates the room. Still gonna be some nice dank.

took this two days ago and decided she'd be ready as soon as the strawberry cough left the drying room. I only left it in for 48 hours and had to jar it because of my low humidity. They're curing nicely right now.

I left the leaves on this time to slow down the drying process a bit. Hoping for a more reasonable 4 days.

now that mama's gone, these kids have the whole room to themselves. A new scrog and some extra plant wire, and they still fill the place up nicely.

the early harvested cough has now been acceptably cured, so I'll do a smoke report.

Appearance: very light and airy, with small buds and a good deal of leaves, but this pheno was very frosty, so it still has the nice sparkle to it.

Smell: I ended up over drying these buds, so I used humidipacks to rehydrate them, this worked very well and they returned from the crumbly mess they were, but it seems to me that the humidipacks imbued a strange scent into them. I think that this wouldn't normally be a problem, but my buds had to take so much humidity from the packs, that whatever bit of strangeness the packs give got strong. The sweet strawberry smell is mixed with strange chemical tones.

Taste: Similar story. The humidipacks add a bit of oddness to it. The overdrying in the first place and
early harvesting probably didn't help either. The taste of strawberry can be found during the exhale if you pay attention, but the more prevalent taste is bitter. It can be hard on the throat/lungs as well, though a nice bong smooths it out a lot.

High: Very sativa feeling. Smoking this makes me uplifted, social, focused, and just gives an overall buzz. It's definitely not the strongest I've smoked, but it's reasonable. Half a bowl by myself can get me to a decent place. I have had a couple issues with paranoia, bit those were mainly pre cure. It's been getting better and better as it sits in the jars. Coming down has given, and still gives me headaches somewhat often, though light ones.

Overall: I'm not totally disappointed by the product, but it does keep each mistake I made out for all the see. Still, the feeling of smoking weed I grew myself makes up for a lot, and I'm excited to see just how good the other two are!
