Harvested 4 Mokum's Tulip and a couple Gorilla Zkittlez this past week. Really happy with the quality but slightly disappointed by the amount of larf/underdeveloped bud -- hopefully a problem of the past now that I'm using the trellis netting and improved my lollipopping.

A total of 7 Mokum's Tulip are now split between 3 different spaces and will veg for 1-2 weeks before flip:

    My best canopy so far.

I've come to learn that my favorite part of the process is watching the rapid growth during the vegetative phase (and least enjoy trimming).

How is your grow going? What parts do you enjoy most? Feel free to post an update or ask questions as we go. ✌

    Stay safe fellow growers

May have defoliated one plant too much or something because it doesn't seem to be growing the past 2 days. Not sure what has happened but the other 3 plants have buds which have gotten noticeably larger over past 2 days while the girl in lower left corner doesn't seem to change (?)

Haha thanks guys - bottom left still looks like it's not really progressing in comparison to others but I trust you all know your shit, and i know i can worry too much. Hoping you're right

Hoping everyone is right but I'm still paranoid that I messed 1/4 up.

Noticeably shorter and behind as times goes on:

But I dont see any bananas or anything.

The rest of the tents are filling out as planned more or less. I think I will let them veg until end of April and flower May-early July.

Planning to defoliate a bit and then leave it so it starts growing vertically before flip.

Also ready to start growing vertically after a mild defoliation planned for later this week.

These 2 are droopy in comparison to others but ok. My theory is that it has something to do with this tent being in a space which gets pretty cold with lights off and may be on the cool side even when the LED lights are on.

The more mature (F30) Mokum's Tulip in the 8x4 are thriving

1/4 on left side has started gaining mass again. It was on pause for a couple days and still lags others in same tent but seems back on track.

I think the 8x4 is going to be my frostiest and heaviest yield yet!

I am seeing a lot more stretch in both CMH tents vs LED. Plan is to keep a close eye on the final quality of CMH vs LED buds, and if the LED is at least comparable I am going to replace the two CMH fixtures with 2x 240W 2700k LM301H QBs.

Thanks John. I don't normally weigh my harvests but will aim to weigh this and the 4x4 CMH -- for comparison purposes, and also to see roughly how many g/sq ft and g/watt I am yielding with the new trellis netting approach.

Thinking of placing an order for Northern Lights by Sensi Seeds and CBD Critical Mass by Dinafem seeds so I have a more pure indica and a mild daytime strain for the wife.

Anyone have experience with Northern Lights? Anecdotes online make it seem like it's a good one for folks with over active brains like me.

I’ve found the house brands to be hit or miss, particularly as of recently. I’m more inclined to spend the extra $$ for the known brand moving forward.

I wish I had dispensaries open already in Missouri! I bought Sensi NL without ever trying it. In fact, the only strains I've ever bought seeds for after sampling the bud are Sensi Skunk #1 (smoked it 30 years ago when it was one of the few alternates to brickweed) and Barney's Farm Acapulco Gold (the first legal purchase I ever made in CO). I'm probably going to get some Rare Dankness Ghost Train Haze seed even though I'm good on seeds for a while. I bought an ounce on its reputation alone and was not disappointed.

UndergroundFarmer Rare Dankness GTH is on my list of things to grow one day. Not sure if you've seen it but there is a YouTube video where they tour the Rare Dankness grow op and dispensary. I believe the series is called Cannacribs lol. Problem is they don't care that brand of seed here at the local shop. And I dont want to use Seedsman during the pandemic. Next year!

Thanks SoOrbudgal. Yes, I would say this one is a personal best/record. Actually going to weigh this one for curiosity's sake. Planning to cut it all down tomorrow. Growing it under the LED in a cooler and drier basement environment really seemed to help with terpene and trichome production.

I'll have to sample some, maybe take a few ounces home...just to do a thorough evaluation

They're looking good. Can you detect amber trichomes?

Well folks the 8x4 is done and I am very happy with results. Drying for almost 2 days at this point in a room with RH 50-60 and temp 21-23C. A touch warmer and more humid than I ordinarily.like but we're dealing with an early heat wave. Dehumidifier working OT now. I suspect that will help me get RH into low 50s high 40s for the better part of 2 weeks left to dry. Will post dry weight as an FYI.

I get what you're saying. We're in a heat wave here mid 30s with like damn humidity the toilet is leaking, can't have a glass of anything without a puddle under it. I'm drying in 28 c air-conditioned room with a dehumidifier I empty a couple gallons a day and it's still in the high 50s. They've been hanging for 5 days now with lots of circulation that seems to be keeping them a o k. But it's a slow process compared to what I dried in 3 days in April. 35 c today and then 8 c on Saturday with a chance of Frost. I love northern Ontario.

Yeah man I'm from Ontario as well so it sounds like we're in same boat. Managing to keep it low 50s with dehumidifier on 24/7. So far they still smell really good. I read slow dry is best so maybe this all works out in the end.

Sampling latest batch of Gorilla Zkittlez and it is so much better than the first. Much more smooth and seems to be exactly what I need at night. Hard hitting sedative type high that will hopefully pit me to bed in time.

The first batch was so harsh i felt bad about growing it a second time (thinking results would be the same). But after a longer flush and longer more carefully monitored dry and cure i have to say this batch is a win 😎😆
