No I didn't find those CFLs in the house I found the 800 lumen ones in my house. These ones in the pics I just went out and bought. I was gonna get all 6 of the 2200 lumen but it was too expensive at the moment. So I got 4 of the other ones for the outside bulbs. And the two big ones I've got in the middle. Also I've got a little fan in there too just for airflow though. I have another one for exhaust but I just need to find a 12 volt power source and wire it up then I'm good to go. My plant started to smell right off the bat and it smells strong too like kush. Before I even transplanted it into the new pot, when it was just small, even then it had a strong smell. Mine is still in veg stage too probably have another 3 weeks to go then I'll start flowering.

Nartak I ended up finding a power source at a computer store in town. And I found a pH test kit, the chemical kind, not the stips. Turns out the pH of the water I've been using to feed my plant is like 7.5 - 8 way out of range. So I got some pH down from the pet store. But my question is, what do you guys use to water your plants. Do you just use plain tap water and let it sit overnight or whatever to get rid of the chlorine. Does everyone use some type of pH down product because most drinking water you buy anywhere or from a tap is all in that same pH range. Like 7-8 but above 6.5. So yeah, does everyone use pH down, everyone who knows what they are doing I mean. Because my plant in my opinion is doing great with the water I've been giving it. We will find out next feeding when I give it the lowered pH water though if it gets a burst of growth.

Hey thats good to hear!! They've been having it rough then haha!!All is good now

I use tap water here, has 0.90 EC and 6.7-7.5 Ph depending on whats going on in the pipes lol! Im in hydro so it would be hard to say what it initially is every time because i don't really measure before i add nutes...

I use tap water and so far, I haven't let it sit overnight to evap the chlorine. Where I live, the water is nice and soft. Plants do fine with it.

South Sierra Dude nice man that sounds awesome if I were to be able to chose where my water came from that would be one of my top choices. Id say my top choice would be water straight from a mountain spring. I always stop at this one spring when I drive through the mountains to visit my grandma and I always take a big water container with me and fill it up on there. It's glacier water so it's freezing cold, pure as you can get and the most refreshing water I ever drank. I would love to be able to just stop and fill up a huge container of it and use to water my plants. Pipe dreams though

What is the pH of the runoff water you've been getting out the bottom? Possibly the pH is low and you've been unintentionally fixing it? Generally pH'ing the water is only going to get rid of deficiencies if you have them. If your plant is green and healthy, I'm not sure how much difference it would make, or if you should change anything I know we always tell people to pH their water, but I'd completely understand if you didn't because if it's not broken, why fix it?

May i suggest topping? How old is she now?

            #38
It's actually pretty old but still quite short. I had a few problems along the way so even though it's got huge leaves and stuff and seems to be growing well, it's actually grown quite slow. But since I've put it in the grow box it's taken off. And I watched a few videos on topping yesterday and I did top a few branches but I didnt do the main one because I was a little leery about it, not sure if I still should, the plant is about two months old so for anyone else they would be flowering now. But I think I'm gonna give my plant another 2-3 weeks because it's pretty short and doesn't have very many thick branches.

Go by what the plant needs first and foremost--not by the "standard" recommendations. If she struggled a bit, or was shocked at some point, then her growth slowed down. There is no rush: let her develop. When she's ready to switch to flower, you'll prolly know it. You're on nobody's schedule but HERS.

So yeah if you guys think it would help, I was considering topping the main bulb and maybe a few others and then giving it another 2-3 weeks and then start flowering.

I would top her and defoliate her as well....

I defoliated and topped it. I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes. Trying to get a picture up but this website is really messed up on Android.

Took off all the lower fan leaves so the shoots could get light. I left two big fan leaves at the top just to help absorb some extra energy.
