SOIL My grow just a summery of what I have going on.

    Grow setup.
    tent. Vivosun 4x4x8
lights. 2 marshydro ts600, 1 mars hydro 300w (old model I had laying around)
I have an carbon filter exhaust system.
growing in fox farms soil. Started seedings directly into happy frog soil. Transplanted in 1 part ocean forest to .5 happy frog
seeds:Random bag seeds from 3-4 years of age. Living in a box in my desk. (Will be ordering seeds soon)

    Grow summery.
I started two seeds Thanksgiving weekend just to see if the seeds were still viable, considering the age and poor storage, they both popped. About a week into the grow the seedlings started to yellow. Not sure what was happening i tired to water less maybe i was overwatering(not the problem) about a week later I thought I tired everything and the seeds were too old and not good(lies) I grabbed my old fish tank water tester to check the ph of my water, was wayy too high 7.6-7.3. So I took to my local hydroponics store and was able to snag a ph meter and ph up and down and started watering around a range of 6.3-6.8. Over about a week the yellowing stopped but the leaves started falling off and I thought they were done. So thinking now I have my bearings in check I'll try again and popped 5 more seeds just to see what can come of this experiment.

Close to Christmas week I was blessed with not just 5 new happy seedings but the two dying plants were starting to grow new green leaves and were looking healthy again.

For the month of January I just had them in my small 2x2just growing out. I also topped for the first time.

In February I got the two mars hydro ts 600w and got my 4x4 set up for the first time and put the plants in. I then transplanted the bigger plants and the runt was left in a sub par size pot because I ran out of soil and wasn't able to get any for about 6 days because of work and the store I go to hours. But I got transplanted into 3 gallon pots, except the runt, only in a one gallon.

I've just flipped into flowering after 3 weeks under the new lights and I have my fingers crossed, I'll have to sex them so I'll be keeping my eyes on them. Once I have them sexed I'll take clones of the females in hope of keeping it around if I get some good smoke.

But that's my grow experiment so far, I'll post updates if I remember to take pictures more often

Are you planning to reveg them after sexing or just letting them ride? Kind of small to flower I think, won't get a lot from them.

I'm just going to let them go once I sex them. I'm also planning on taking clones from the females just incase I got something good. But the main reason why I'm flowering now is because I need my tent empty by april. My brother has a nice sized property and we planning on growing a few plants outdoors. So if the tent is empty around april to mid April I'll have more than enough time to beg for end of may to put them outside. Other wise I would have left them to veg for maybe another week or two before I flipped to flowering

Welcome Wannabebotanist23 I guess you do wanna be? I think you got a good plan as usually have a back up plan also. I'm not sure how the sexing will go they are rather small but it may work I usually got them sexed after 2months but i'm not a pro. Great idea about taking clones it's the way to go once you find the strains you like. Read up on the sativa vs indica for outdoor strains. Good Luck with the grow

First pictures of the morning, here not that small. Mostly bushy, but in the next few weeks will be the exciting part. Chop the males (if any) clone the females. I can't wait!

They look great ain't that exciting. Your plan will bring such a feeling of accomplishment. There is no better feeling for a personnel use grower than knowing the whole plant grow characteristics and needs. Great way to learn. Take care of them as if they were all female now great job.

I think the one is a he and with a few more days I'll be able to tell 100% but so far I'm like 80% sure. Luckily it's the plant with the least amount of main bud sites so no loss for me.
