Hey guys,
I have been growing vegetable from seeds for a while and got my hands on some cannabis seeds. More precisely feminized Qc 20:1 and CBD Blueberry. I have read about the different ways to get seeds from a female plant, without using a male ( Coloidal silver, GA, stress). My plan is to start from a seed with a 18-6 light schedule until the plant can be big enough to cut some clones. I use these clones for my outdoor production. They should be able to go outside third week of may. Once I have some clones, I let my mother inside on a 18-6 light schedule for couple weeks so she can recover. Then, I switch her on a 12-12 light schedule for her to flower and I let her go past harvest until she produces male organs out of distress and pollinates herself. This way, I would be able to get seeds from her. I do not have the option of keeping a mother plant year long. If I do chose to grow a mother, I would use one of my clone just before it gets into flowering stage and cut a second generation clone from it and bring it inside on a 16-8 ratio until next year.
Do you see any flaws into this plan?
I know it depends on the strain but what would be your guess on the time needed to go from seeds to a plan that we can get clones from?
Then, how long would it takes to go from a clone to a viable outdoor plant on the third week of may?
Cheers
