Still in my planning stage. I did a quick search but didn't see any other questions like mine. I want to grow one auto strain, with 3 photo period seeds. Is this common? Any concerns?

Autos need a lot of light, they would do fine during the veg stage, but switching to 12/12 for flowering would not be in their best interest. You could move it and keep it on a 20/2 but the least I would keep it would be a 18/6

Hi BR2K I am doing that now I have 2 autoflowers Durban Poison and a Berry Ryder. 48days from seed those are the 2 flowering. I have Three 3-4month old photos in there on the sides. I did change the arraignment this morning. Moved autos to the left side of tent and move LEDs under them and put all photos on right side of tent.
I started autos first give them at least 6wks head start while your vegging your photos. I do generally 6wks of veg on my photos then flip. But these were gifted to me large so there they sit until another 3wks on autos before I flip 12/12. By that time the autos would be on the race to finish line or close to it that's my plan.
Anyway this is how this current grow is going, i'm going to get large photos that either produce great or ? I live in area that gets way to cold without heaters in my tent on my porch. It's for veg. I use it as long as I can until it gets too hot or too cold outdoors. I know others here have done similar grows. I hope this helps and others chime in. Good Luck

Thanks guys (figurativey speaking). I have all the components, except my grow bag/pot for my auto. Thankfully, I have at least a few weeks before I move into my new digs. I'm itchin' to get started but this isn't a race. I'll probably go over this advice a couple of times before I finally start.A Legend...in his own mind - , 48" X 60" X 80" 2-in-1 Grow Tent, Flower light: Vivaspectra P2500 LED. I agree with Rwise on this. I've never personally grown autos but if I was growing them side by side I would veg the photos until the auto was harvested and then switch the rest. Should give you a decent amount of time to get your photos nice and big before the switch. Anyway, welcome to the forum and happy growing!

I'm liking what I'm reading. If I start with one or two autos, it will also give me an idea of how much elbow room I'll have for the photos anyway. I grew autos side by side in my tent while vegging until it got to be tight quarters then moved the autos out of the tent under light in an open room, trained the photos out to fill the tent with tops then switched to flower. Unfortunately it took me too long to move the autos and I wasn't able to train the photos out much at all so my canopy is uneven but still full of tops.
