Thank you all, I have been insulating and walling up my basement, cause I dont want my plants to get cold. Over X-Mas I will get the wiring hooked up and reread the beginners steps of how to mix perlite and coco mix. I have ordered seeds from Nirvana (Blackjack and AK48) and then we begin. I will look into starting a thread to keep you all informed. Thanks again for the support!

Syncro92, Welcome to the forum and congrats on starting to grow your own!!! I'm on my second grow, in my 60s and having the most fun I've had in years!! It's an amazing thing to watch on a daily basis, and I love tending to my plants.

Hi there, I'm just getting everything in order for my first grow. GWE is my first reference and I will be starting in about 2 weeks. I ordered a 4' X 4' X 7' grow tent and got a 5' X 5' X 7" one, happy me. I will be running a 600W HPS system and have been prepping my basement the past 2 weekends. At 50, I finally decided that I can do this and add the fact that Canada should be legalizing in 2017, I feel pretty safe
