A manifold, a quadline and a furry helper

Trying to learn some of the techniques I have been reading about on here. Here is the first phase. Doing the NebulaHaze Manifold on three and the @mcubed476 Quadline on one. I am basically using them as different ways to get to the 8 colas I want for each. Pretty fun to get in there all "bonsai" (but a little nerve wracking for the first one to be honest)

Looking great so far billyboy! I learned through trial and error to not make the angles completely flat. I normally give them a low Y shape if that makes sense.

I wouldn't change what you have now. It's looking great!

Took the tips and left nodes 1 and 3 on the manifold. On the quadline took node #2 and left the tips. Re-tied the arms and kept the canopy flat.

Trying for some fat, long, not-crowded buds.

Anyone have a thought about the spotting on the leaves?

I see one of your leaves has water spots on it. It's possible the spotted ones had water on them and it burned the leaves there. Your plants are looking good though!

Those are looking good! Careful with pets. If they've been outside they can bring bugs into your garden.

Manifolds are built. Got my 8 nodes (except for one where I snipped the growth tips - next time I will wear my glasses :-) ) and on the quadline I think it was 16. Not sure how long to stay in veg? I think we will assess on Groundhog Day and see where they are at.

I was going to let veg go another two weeks, and that would put me at an almost 9 week veg - which I know is longer than it will be the next time I do this. Partly due to me leaving more time between training than I probably needed to as a first timer and just life. So if they are still growth-spurting they way they have been the last week I am thinking of flipping this weekend. It feels like I have already trimmed off more than is on them right now! Great thoughts on the quadline and it does look a little ahead. part of the grow is to get a sense of the two techniques. I saw what you pull on your autos. Some quality stuff it seems - and I am trying for the same :-)

I try for a pound in my 4x4x 6.5 (600MH/600HPS) and am hoping to be able to do that with this technique as well. So I'm wrestling about how much impact the veg time will have on final results. At the same time I'd rather have quality, so if I get better medicine, big buds, less chance for rot or mold, etc. and a cost of a reduced yield - I'll definitely take the quality and the surer grow. I'm just trying to be mindful of the variables so I can do better next time and compare apples/2/apples. And I just took a hit of some SuperSilver and could type another whole paragraph on the topic :-)

And this is my other furry helper. Protecting his antler horn (which he got for Christmas) from his brother that is almost twice his size.

LST today and just some spreading out. Getting a little bushy. Will defoliate next week I think. Maybe flip to 12/12. I think you guys were right about the yellowing being from water spots.

The quad is coming out square. Are there squares in nature? :-)

Three Super Silver Haze and one BlueCheese. The Blue is the back left in the pick. All from ILGM. I got some nice, heavy buds from that SSH last grow and was smooth to smoke with a heady "up" high. We like it :-)

I have a question: Does cork bark? Get it? Cork bark???? Hmmm....maybe it's only funny if you're high.... Anyway, plants look great and Cork looks extremely intelligent. I love the floppy ear.

He is a smart guy. Too smart some days - he can open most of the doors in the house and lets himself in and out

Flipping to 12/12 tonight. Any thoughts on a defoliation at this time from anyone? There are some lower bud sites and some in the middle - keep 'em or trim 'em

If it were me, I'd trim lower fan leaves and "leave a layer of fan leaves at the top to power the stretch." I think I'm quoting Nebula.
