    Hollow Stalks

Just harvested part of my plant, and noticed it had a hollow stalk. Pretty cool. Anyways, after researching I saw a lot of people say it’s good and a lot of people say it’s a deficiency. I’d love to get some feedback from you veterans.

Mine are always hollow, I think its part of the dying cycle.
    Focus and relativity.

When I grow hydro I notice my stalks are always hollow. I've always associated it with the extra water uptake but never really put much thought into it.

BY the time harvest comes, ....hollow about 1/3 up from the root zone also depends on stalk diameter

Mines are hollow like Farmall says especially stems. No big deal to me.

Stems are hollow. You can gently crush them around 4 to 6 weeks between your fingers gently and they will close up. Supposedly this helps them carry nutrients, I find it makes the stalk stronger and thicker over time vs not doing it.
