Good to know I'll check this out,

I had a Leonberger dog LOT's of extra hair and I always hated not knowing what I could really use this stuff for and a girl asked me at the beach one day if she could have hair from him and she could knit sweaters OMG I always sent her bags

People like that are wonderful, because we don't really realize how much "waste" we actually produce, and for others to see the gold in that, seriously warms my heart (:

              Hi DWC
Have you done a tea out of green leaves? my grow right now is a peppery spice taste as is off the plant. It would taste awesome but I've never done that?

Karlee, I have tried tea from somewhat green leaves. I save the cut leaves from defoliation, let them dry slowly in a zip-lock bag (slightly open to the air), grind them up, and extract the resins with the dry ice. When I get enough leaves, and combine them with the 'lumber' from the last grow, I'm going to make a large batch of tea.
Remember Karlee, to bake the tea in the oven in an aluminum foil packet(or wrapped in a piece of parchment paper) at 230 Deg. F for two hours.
Years ago, a friend of mine would make tea by boiling the stems for several hours and straining it thru cheese cloth. He made the tea for his Aunt who was undergoing chemotherapy treatments for cancer.
Good luck with the tea and keep me posted on how it works out.
