I realize that of the (I assume) thousands of users on GWE very few of you have actually met a single other user! And I know there are occasionally attempts to rectify that. And that if it ever happens it will be small scale and probably just frigging awesome. Anyway, our Holidays a year ago just sucked on an epic scale with losing my father-in-law. Our middle daughter nearly died (coded 12 times!) We're now raising a grandson we never expected to live with us. And on and on it went.
This year? I'm so thankful we haven't had a repeat of last year on a personal level. More importantly I found all of you! Honest. I'm surely not alone in being so grateful that this site exists. Not just for the sake of weed and all of its awesomeness. But all of you guys and gals that take the time to take us rookies by the hand and lead us onward toward greater and greater yields. Mostly with good humor and caring comments and a gentle nudge in the right direction. That does not come naturally to most. You guys and gals that help out so willingly and frequently must have had good parents that beat you just the right amount (we did grow up in a very different age didn't we?) and let you learn from your mistakes. Or others that cared as much. And so many of you did learn. For some it was a wake up call in the military. Four years in the USAF helped me immensely back in the day. For others college degrees or plain hard work. Still more with spouses and kids and grandchildren. Anyway, I'm thankful for the new hobby I have found, the way it occupies my hands and my thoughts. Having mason jars full of nugs is just icing on the cake for me. Though I must admit it is so awesome to just grab a big pinch of weed and stuff it in a bowl with nary a thought of scarcity or running out! (And jelly jars of bud with bows on top make such nice gifts.)
To sum up...thanks to Nebula and Sirius and all of their little minions who keep us on the right path at all times. And to all of you volunteers who so readily assist us and impart your knowledge and experience for us all to partake of. Thank you all so much.
And now it's time to prepare for the Solo grow!
