    Smart Bulb 60w equivalent

I grabbed one of these to augment my 450w LED. Kind of interesting being able to modulate the K ratings. I thought it would be nice for seedlings and then change it up as things progress. Trouble is I don't know how close to put it. I initially was thinking CFL close but then I woke up. Now I'm not sure. Any wild ass guesses are welcome!

Ignore the other stuff behind the green curtain.

Purely a guess - an inch away? 800 lumen is not alot. I'm guessing the bulb portion is plastic, possibly some what opaque. Look for a light meter app . Measure your light in various places and find a 800 lumen spot. 100% accurate - no, but it can help give you an idea of strong vs dull areas. If your looking to supplement in some more light / balance spectrum (i use the same light you do) my first grow I used an ABI 660nm 25 watt bulb. Now I have a parfactworks ra1000.

At that low of a wattage LED bulb, I agree with cfl closeness.
