Which 4x4 grow tent have you had the best experience with?

I'm hoping to purchase a grow tent for my first grow as my Christmas present to myself I've decided on a 4x4 size tent, that I'll be pairing with a 600watt HPS light. It'll be in the corner of a room, and next to a window for easy exhaust.

There seem to be a variety of different brands and types of tents available. I'm looking mostly on Amazon, but not opposed to purchasing elsewhere. In your experiences, which tents have you preferred and why?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers!

I've heard great things about the Gorilla Tent line up. I use the Apollo Horticulture because it had a lot of review on Amazon, most people were happy. I have mixed feelings for the price though I really can't complain. The quality on the Apollo wasn't very good. You should be fine with any tent you purchase though, just make sure it has higher quality zippers is my two cents!

I currently use the Vivosun 4x4 which has served me well for the past couple of months. It and the apollo are pretty much the same thing. Gorilla tents are great, and if you can fit it into your budget without sacrificing other essentials, it'll never let you down. However, if you can't afford the luxury, apollo, vivosun, and most brands you can find on amazon will work just fine. Just make sure they use metal corners!

I know for sure that you can use a 50$ one and get results but since i started my first grow just a month ago,i've been looking into more details about what i should do and what not...I second the Gorrila tents and i personally have a 5x5 Home Eco Box (Load of bull) which i will replace with this little baby in the coming summer!!Look them up,they are really coming in so strong it would be a shame to give 80% of the money to something way lower in quality and sustainability!!Just my .02

I have a Virtual Sun tent for the last 5 years. Still works fine. If I can make one suggestion. Get one that you can access from the side as well as the front. That makes watering a lot easier.

It depends on your setup. Does it need to be lightproof? Is the room the tent will occupy used daily, etc. If your just using it in an empty room and want a sealed grow environment the apollo horticulture tents are great. If you need something better constructed than the Gorilla's are a good tent. Even the no brand name ebay tents are decent and made of mostly the same materials as more expensive tents.

I have a 4x4 gorilla it's heavy enough to block light from getting out of the tent. And I'm sure helps holds heat in at night for me. And putting my scrubber and 600 watt MH light didn't bother it one bit. I can open it up all around it both sides zip out.

Gorilla are the best! Mine worked as promised and has been taken down and stowed. Fabric held up well.
