    sugar leaf question

    What are 3 finger leafs that grow from colas that have a long stem? Are they sugar leafs or fan leafs?

    leave them of defoliate?

    There are 3 things you must check everyday when growing in hydro:
    1) Water level (How much h2o is she drinking in 24hrs)
    2) pH level (change over 24hrs)
    3) ppm/EC level (How much food is she eating in 24hrs)

    Check this page out, reasonable explanation...to me, sugar leaf is only the small protruding leaves, usually as singles, that emerge from the developing and mature buds. When you dig into the bud when trimming , they may have 3 leaves but are quite small

      Farmall Thanks for the good link. I was looking to defoliate the long 3 finger leaves them had second thoughts since they appear to be growing from the cola. Started to wonder if they should go or not.

        I will leave them a lot of times, cut them the last week of flowering before I chop and put them in my Hash bags.
