    Telescope eyepiece

Somebody else posted but I waned to confirm. I had an old cheap telescope laying around and took the eye piece out, turned it upside down, and checked trichomes. LOVED IT! My 60X100 hand held was too sensitive (needed firm base) and didn't give a wide field of view. Telescope lens isn't 60X but enough to clearly see trichomes with wide field of view. Great option for anyone looking for good magnification.

Sounds like great idea. My smsll magnifier suffers from narrow field ov view, shallow depth of field and light transmission. Now looking for a used telescope !

It was a child's "freebie" from National Geographic. I have used good telescopes and this one was diffently on the cheap side but eyepiece works great for viewing trichomes. Be sure to turn it upside down.
