    Custom bud coloring

Different opinions online elsewhere about this. I am sure there is only one, here. I am not asking if it would be smokable.
If I cut a bud with a longish stem, and put the cut end in water with food coloring, would it change the color of the flower or leaves? Like carnations and celery.

I don't do anything to my smoke that could possibly alter the taste. I like my buds just the way mother nature made them. Therefor I can't answer your question.

Marijuana growing art. I picture a row of plants different colors trained and wound together.

If you're not planning to smoke it - probably more fun if you put it on while the plant is still growing.

right on the money, gotta remember many thing are perfectly safe to ingest but can cause harm when inhaled... but a food colored plant would be interesting, specially with a color cannabis doesnt already have, and cant think of one...

From what I've gathered, coloring while growing doesn't work. It has to be cut.

So you're trying to make a real-life of a photoshop effect? Kinda cool!

Photoshop's nothing on the colors I see, moodfood. And welcome to the forum.
This might be my next experiment. All I need is food coloring and a pot plant.
