    Always Another High

Just when I think I can't enjoy my 1st grow anymore...something new happens and I'm buzzing about it all over again...
When they first broke ground I was sooo excited,
When I got up the nerve to defoliate for the 1st time and they rewarded my bravery with an incredible burst of new growth, I was sooo pleased,
When I realized the 1st little frilly buds had started I was grinning thinking..."hey, I might actually do this!!",
Watching the buds grow over the last few weeks has been the best part of my day,
And now today, after wondering when they might start to get frosty or if they'll get frosty, or if I've missed something somewhere and they wont get glittery like they should...I zoomed in on a few buds and once again I'm as happy as can be! And there's still more to go! It's official...I Love Growing Weed!!!

Thanks. I keep wondering is it always going to be this rewarding? I hope so! I can't imagine it not being.

I can tell you that I'm a little more comfortable and a lot more excited on my second grow!! I'm digesting so much information from GWE, my intuitions are clearer, I'm faster to recognize and resolve problems, and I am more intimate with my plants than on the first grow. Every time I open the door and look at them, it chokes me up how powerful and beautiful they are. I mean, I've grown lots of different kinds of plants and I've always acknowledged their power, but this is so different!! We are growing medicine--the very best kind of medicine. The energy is incredible: I can't imagine that diminishing.

Thanks guys! I really have no idea what to expect and when to expect it. I just ordered a microscope for my phone to help me out but trying to figure out what nutes I should be giving is tricky. For instance, this auto is at 48 days old, has been flowering for 14 days, and is supposed to finish at 56 to 65 days but I know they go longer because I've seen many grows of the same plants online and they're on day 75 and haven't harvested yet.
It's hard to know what nutes to give when you don't know how long you have to go and still need to incorporate a flush in there too.
I'm following Nebula's GH nute schedule for photos and trying to adjust it for autos so right now I'm giving them midbloom nutes.
What is the best way to tell how long I have to go? By the trichomes? Should I keep giving midbloom nutes for a few more feedings before switching to late bloom? And how do I know when I need to flush?

I'm having the same exact problem with my grow. Trying to tell exactly what phase I'm actually in. I planted 2 different plants with the same flowering time window. They are the same age, however definitely at different phases in growth. So I know my schedule needs to be adjusted but how do I know where I am on the slower one?

Love your enthusiasm about this grow! Still amazed myself at the thrill I get with every daily movement on my babies, and it's so cool to be able to share with so many of you forum friends who completely understand this excitement for cannabis! 🙌 Frosting looks super!! 🍰

I treat my autos like photos...veg nutes till I notice preflowers...then bloom nutes for two weeks...then up dosage for two weeks...then down for two weeks...cram a flush/stripper in there a few times throughout whole grow...get one or two in before harvest..

If he told me to throw some shit at it, rub some dirt on it, spray it with the hose and there'd be buds everywhere...I'd do it!

Excellent flowers, you are defiantly doing it right. Your excitement and pictures give me great joy. Following Nebulas Nutrient Schedule is using a long studied and successful plan. The time tables are not absolute, (this is not baking), You are in tune with your plants, watch the trichomes, watch the plants they will tell you when they need more or less nutrients. flush when you are going to harvest in a couple weeks, The ratio of cloudy to amber trichomes is what suits you, It is very subjective, like salt and pepper on your eggs, nobody does the same.

Just wait good things will be happening it won't stop, the smell watching the buds get fat and cutting it down, that was a do or die all that time you spent and if it molds you're out! Growing Rocks!

So far so good Karlee! They've fattened up some this past week and I think they still have a few weeks to go even tho they're supposed to finish in 56 to 63 days. Today is around day 51 or 52 and only 1 has a couple of hairs that have turned a little golden colored. I've been watching some videos of the same auto strains on youtube trying to learn what to expect and a lot of these people are on day 78 and even 80 and haven't harvested yet!!! So I'm just watching and waiting and enjoying learning as I go.
The Fast Buds Auto Girl Scout Cookies is by far my favorite out of the 6 plants I have going. Well, actually 5 now...after 1 night of 12/12 the 1 I suspected of being male showed obvious crab clawing so I had to murder him yesterday. Once I knew he was definitely a male...it was pretty easy to kill him!
I can't say enough good things about the GSC tho. She has forgiven me for every newbie mistake and loved the lst and me repeatedly chopping nearly all her fan leaves off. She is a short canopy of frosty goodness and I absolutely love her!!!

Thanks Nugs. Have you grown her? How long you think she will go? I been giving her late bloom nutes cause I thought she would be almost done by now. She don't seem to mind it tho. I like her so much I ordered 2 more seeds when I re-upped this time. I'm starting both of them plus 3 more autos and 2 photo fems.
