Rather than the proverbial milk house heater https://www.amazon.com/Comfort-Zone-...s%2C284&sr=8-4 why not just put a hotter light in the grow space? That way you'll get heat with your illumination. This CMH 315 https://www.amazon.com/VIVOSUN-High-...s%2C241&sr=8-8 should heat up your grow space nicely, and furnish light and heat with a savings. The milkhouse heater uses on high around 1500 watts.

Yes starramus, thats a good point..even those little 20$ heaters are using 1000-1500w....that'll be a scary electric bill every month.

What size LED are you running? I have a 4x6x6 tent running 2 viperspectra v600 LED's in my garage right now. With temps dropping at night to around 65-67 degrees in the garage, i can easily maintain 80 degrees in the tent. i think one v600 would keep it toasty warm with the tent closed up. hgShappel S3000 3.5x6x6' ice hut

Nothing cheaper than a good old fashioned hps/mh light. And you will need no heat while the lights are on. In the coldest months I either run auto plants on a 24hour cycle or keep photos in veg 24hour light cycle until the cold is over. You may win the race, but you pass all the best things in life on the way.

I use one of those oil-circulating heaters in my grow room when necessary. It's great because I can adjust the heat way down low: https://www.amazon.com/Optimus-H-600...61&s=hi&sr=1-3Anyone can grow schwag. If you want to grow top shelf bud, study hard: https://www.growweedeasy.com

I have my seedlings in my basement as well (starting to finally get cold in Michigan)... I have them under 4 Sun Blaze T5 HO 24 - 2ft 4 Lamp, 120 Volt; about 7-9 inches away from my seedlings, and on a milk-crate to keep them off the floor of the grow tent. That light keeps the tent at 78-80 F, so I haven't had to use my digital heater at all.
