Hi,
TL;DR - Spots on stems, plants in 1gal pots outside and never given nutes. Hot and humid climate, is this white powdery mildew?
I noticed last Sunday spots on the main stem of one plant. A few days before the sugar leaves had started to yellow. I thought the plant was dying since most of the leaves had already fallen off. I had a second plant that still had leaves but Monday I saw the leaves had brown spots. I was trying to give them as long as possible before harvest bc most of the pistils were still white. I decided to cut my losses and harvested both. While l harvesting I realized both had spots on their stems. The spots were not fuzzy or soft.
Pics below, the first 4 are of the first plant. The last 2 are of the second plant.
This is my first grow. These were some seeds I had found. They were in one gallon pots and they were outside by some canna lilies to provide camouflage. I live in coastal zone 8b, so its fairly hot and humid. I did not provide anything but water - no nutes.
Honestly, I grew these on a whim and wanted to see what yields I'd get from minimal effort. I later found this site and I have learned so much! My next grow will be much better planned.
I know this is long so thank you for reading!
