    Top Feed in a DWC

I am using rapid rooters to germinate and will be putting them in the clay right from the start. Where should I put the top feed hose in conjunction with the rapid rooter?. I know that to germinate I should not soak the seed or rapid rooter.....I have 5 gal buckets with a 10" basket.....Also 2 birds with 1 stoned.....LOL. Once the roots are in the water, should I at that time remove the top feeder?
Any help would be greatly appreciated......

William and Sue, In my DWC setup I put the feed line at the bottom of the cube or plug (the plug or cube on top of the drip line). This line runs continuously during the grow. Leaving the line running after the roots are established, keeps the roots from drying out, but it could be turned off. I have seen some growers mention problems with their roots just 'balling up' and not growing down into the reservoir. They all seem to have their irrigation on a timer, the continuous flow will 'train' the roots to grow down with the flow of the water.
    Good luck with your grow!
    Smoke weed,.....grow peace!
