    hi tyler,

    few things come to mind.

1 - do you normally leave that filler cap extended? (bottom left in the picture)
2 - whats the pH of the water?
3 - whats the ppm of the solution?
4 - (i assume that you do, but) is there an air stone in the bucket?

something points to an unhappy root zone, thats for sure.

any air movement, with a fan?

The clear plastic is allowing light inside your reservoir. That’s bad. Rule #1: Darkness inside the reservoir at all times possible.

Hi tyler, that happens to me when the plants are young. I try to change the reservoir as fast as I can when they are that young, and leave the roots entirely alone. They usually bounce right back after a few days. My mistake last week was putting water that was too warm into the reservoir (it's coming out of the tap at around 80 F!!!) Since I keep the res. chilled, I think that shocked them.
