hello, I have a 48x24x60 grow tent with a 400 watt h.p.s. Light for flowering. I purchased a air scrubber 6 " diameter and want to purchase another grow tent with the same dimensions for a vegetative grow. Is it possible to use the same air scrubber for both tents?

    No

Probly won't need one for veg tent anyway

Agree with green but- you could change it out..depends on the strain too I think, how big you get them in veg,

ID:	3288 Yes you could use one scrubber for both- just add a Y to this set up style in pic:
But as stated by Green75- you most likely won't need one, unless you throw some auto's in there to fill the tent space.

I have a veg tent which is 1/2 the size of my Flower tent- because the plants double in size in flowering.

The filter does not need to be in the tent.
This setup is the carbon scrubber, with a macro filter around the outside, (to keep carbon in the filter)- attached to an inline fan that is blowing into the filter-(uses the whole filter surface area) taking air from the tubing coming from the tent (negative pressure inside the tent).

I'm trying to keep the smell down for the veg grow as well as the flowering grow.
do you always need to vent this outside? Going into winter here so there isn't a lot of heat at the moment

Good luck with your grow lakegal. I too am pretty new , only one harvest so far another one real close. I have about the same setup as you and have too many clones! I ended up throwing a few away! I sure hated doing that!!

Hi Sonnyhad. After read. Read, reading myself silly, I ordered another grow tent for my vegetative grow. Purchased a duct T I will hang the scrubber on a beam above both tents. There is so much to learn. I started my 4 plants outside, 1 went into the ground so it had to be covered when it got frosty, 75% of the little hairs turned brown so I cut it down and am drying/ curing now ( can't wait to try out the fruits of my labor) my 3 potted plants are in a tent and are progressing nicely.
my new grow I have 4 plants ( strawberry cough) out of 10 seeds, almost ready to be trans planted and to start low stress training. I purchased my seeds from msnl. I'm just hoping I get at least 2 females from them. I'm taking my seed business to Nirvana in the future. I went cheap and purchased basic seeds thinking I should get at least 4 females only time will tell.
. Definately buying female seeds only in future
As a newb grower, I can read and continue to read and ask questions, but exsperience is a good teacher.

what are you growing and where are you at in your grow?

I am growing Afghan, blue dream, and chronic auto flowering. I started with a 2x4 tent then got a 4x4 and soon realized that wasn't going to be enough for flowering! So I had to get a 4x8 tent!! The Afghan is a couple weeks away from harvest and a clone is in 2nd week of flowering. 1 chronic started flowering. I have several clones from the Afghan, it was the first plants I started. I planted 4 , 3 of those feminized seeds were male! Went through hell with that mess, I had cloned them and stopped labeling them because they're all feminized seeds so they are females no worries! Wrong!!!
I too read a lot ,love GWE and this forum too!

Wow! Sounds like you've got some beautiful girls. That is some big ass grow tents. We got the scrubber up and working and am relieved now to have company over now.
just waiting for my other tent to arrive an I will be set.cut the buds off of my blueberry and had a little sample last nite. It sure doesn't smell like blueberry, sort of a fuel/earthy smell. Hopefully a couple of weeks in a jar will improve the smell. The flavor was nice and it is a pleasant high. I have a habit of going over board with past m. Mushroom grows so am really trying to keep things small since this is for personal use

I never knew anything about curing before I started reading and watching videos. Now I'm a firm believer in it. It surely does improve the taste and smell!
I am smoking or should say vaping the first harvest I had, and wow, I can't believe I grew this stuff!

Question. Can the soil be re used as long as your adding nutrition?

I would never...you have all the remains of the old nutes...

Put it in a composter for yard flowers or garden

Yes you can. But why would you? By the time you untangle the roots and refurbish the nutrients. It's hardly worth the hassle. Much easier to use fresh soil. As for posting in the wrong place? Just post away.
