    Transition stage nutes

Second year grower, and I was wondering how to transition my nutes from growth to flowering. White hairs are just starting to show. Growing outside in Fox Farms soil, currently using Grow Big nutes. Should I immediately switch to Tiger Bloom, or hold off until I start to see buds, or perhaps alternate growth, water, bloom, etc through stretch? Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you all for your help in the past and future, this site is awesome!! Great job Nebula and Sirius !!!

I do not have personal experience with fox farm, but they have feedingg schedules that recommend overlap.

Hi Stickers, just follow the nute company's directions; you just switch to flowering nutes when you change your lights; it's not really all that different from veg nutes, but you should see some reduced and some gradually increased.

Thanks alltat, I was thinking they could use some extra nitrogen for stretch. I was turned on to feeding schedule by FF that looks good.

I believe that as soon as flowering starts, they need less and less nitrogen.

You should be adding phosphorus at the very first sign of hairs= It will encourage more development.

That said: it's equally important to continue veg nutes 7-10 days-feeding the upcomming burst in growth= the stretch.

During this transition , you can reduce the high N (veg nutes) by reducing it by 1/2 as Tiger Bloom contains some N.

I don't use Tiger Bloom, but like the fact it has low N and micronutrients-
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

I second this, and am using FF nutes.

Thanks to both of you, I was directed to a FF feeding schedule that addresses exactly this. Great advice,ty.
