    BOO ! 🧟

Alltatup is right. It’s just part of the path to growing. Learning by mistake and the brain that powers those thoughts..” hmmm, I need this....hmmm, that would work great, hmmm, that would make it easier....etc etc. ‘

.ALL OF THAT however, goes away when you go a few weeks into flower and see the amazing transformation into the beautiful buds and aromas however potent

LMAO, besides responding to alltatup, this is the first post I've read this am. Ya, I get it. Just think back when you had your first grow, that's me, so I will have plenty of time to create messes lol. I'll be doing it in the basement, you've all sold me on that. Going to try super soil for my fist grow, and would like to get that down. I know hydro is faster but I am confident enough to say that it's out of my league right now. Good lord that's a lot of chemicals, sad it takes all that but I'm there nube here so thanks for all the advice and for letting me know those crazy stories about Alltatup.

I thought hydro was out of my league too. Then I tried it and it turns out that I find it much more simple and user friendly. I only add nutes once a week and my daily grow room chores include a ph test and adding ice bottles to my res. Other than that it's just topping off the res maybe twice a week. I was able to build a complete rdwc setup for around 150 bucks. That includes 5 pails, net pots, air pump, water pump, hydroton, all the fittings and hose I needed. It was simple to build. However there is nothing wrong with growing in soil. Veg just takes a bit longer. Hope everything works out for you dude!

Thanks Alltatup. I'm very happy with it. The only thing I might change in the future would be upgrading my return lines from 3/4 to 1 1/2"

over and over for weeks, saved up a little money to buy shoplights, plant bulbs, plastic pots, bone meal, blood meal, kelp, bat guano, dirt in a bag, perlite and a small fan for my 2 × 6 foot closet, Never pHed my water, flooded my saucers with standing water, did feed them ever. I don't even know how I got to harvest but I did, four months later, i had the best Damn quarter oz ever, lol . Cannabis growing has come a long way especially with the information on the Internet and the quality of your return will be worth your initial investment, you will be soooooooo thankful you have the extra room and the means to acquire this and that trinket. Point is you can get it done with the minimum but why settle if you've got the room.
My nemesis in hauling and storing water, 5-7 gallon jugs in a 7×8 grow room not to mention everything else, oh and room for plants, If you only knew my small room problem.
I look forward to you grow Dude

Thanks Furley, money is really tight tight now but I'm serious about doing this, I love the plant because it's so darn interesting, let alone what it does for the body and mind. The tent will be 150.00, lighting 130.00, Kind Soil and Fox Farm Soil 75.00, Root Trapper pots and Root Riot starters 50.00, need to find some good inline fans to move old air out and new air in, plus a small fan for inside to help strengthen stems and just a nice breeze as we all like. So roughly I'm at 500.00 to get started right. Now I could always do it the other way and hopefully have a badass quarter like you ended up with as well.. Lol....I buy no means have money, but I've always believed that when buying tools for any trade, buy good tools and always take care of your tools and they will take care of you when needed.

Farmall, I know what you're saying and I get a bit excited like a kid going to the fair. Lol...I have good seeds coming so I have hopes that as long as I do my end hopefully she will do her part. I'm learning about topping Right now and how to pinch off the pistol on the sixth node. Also learning how bending can help grow new branches from the damaged knuckle. Ms Cannabis is designed to keep reaching for three sky, so I need to slow that a bit so she can spread out and grow more friends/buddies. When I get going I'm going to need some advice on how to help bush her out. Like your name BTW Farmall, good equipment!

Dude, your budget sounds real good. You will also need:
            • pH up and down: I hope you have a good garden store near you that's not super expensive. If you order online, don't have them shipped in the extreme heat or cold; screws them up.
            • pH meter (don't buy a cheap one, it will drive you nuts). This is the one I have, and I keep it in 7pH calibration solution all the time (the little 50ml beakers come in handy): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you treat it right, it lasts a good 3 years or more.
Click image for larger version Name:	pH meter.jpg Views:	1 Size:	16.0 KB ID:	327283Click image for larger version Name:	beakers.JPG Views:	1 Size:	1.59 MB ID:	327284Click image for larger version Name:	trimmers.JPG Views:	1 Size:	1.54 MB ID:	327285Click image for larger version Name:	syringes pipettes.JPG Views:	1 Size:	1.43 MB ID:	327286
            • Calibration solution can get really expensive, so I get it in bulk here: https://www.omega.com/calibration-eq...A-7-GAL-CAL-PH $32 for a gallon versus a quart for $21 on amazon!!!!
            • Good trimmers and scissors, and alcohol prep pads to wipe off residue. Alcohol prep pads are indispensible.
            • Pipettes for pH up and down, which only get added a few drops at a time. I use the syringe with the long tube for measuring any liquids.
            • I use electrical tape in the grow room all the time for various things, and I also have adhesive tape in case I snap a branch. I just bind it back together in a tape splint, and it works great.
            • Wide-mouth jars and hygrometers for curing and storage in a cool dark place (not in my grow room).
Click image for larger version Name:	jars.JPG Views:	1 Size:	667.9 KB ID:	327287

Listen, what's the worst that could happen? You skip supper for a few months, and you're good to go equipment wise!!

Thank you so much for all your helpful information, I'll be sure to use your information Alltatup. The pH meter I picked also did moisture and sunlight. I'm going to see how long the meter I picked works, then I'll give yours a try. Thanks again sista, I really appreciate you taking the time for all this. I will need jars, glass jars. One thing at a time. Tent, light, pot, soil, air movement.

Dude when I did my hydro I found the bigger expenses were lights, nutrients, water pump, and a really nice pH / EC meter. Some of the small trivial stuff isn’t that pricey but heck, it can add up quickly so write it all down and make sure you’re all prepared. It would be horrible to get started and have to jam on the brakes in mid-stream

Glad you're having a good time Meeesta. I figured that if I let myself get all worked up, then I'm going to have to take more time to cool myself down. So ooo, I figured that walking away really helps when you're upset. It gives you time to cool off and chill out. Just step away and chill out instead of staying in the anger bubble and causing unneeded stress on yourself. I'm sure it has something to do with age as well. When I was young I was like gas vapor, didn't take much to set med off. I've changed a lot.

Hey meesta, what's a good strain that chills you out, I've smoked some strains that got me to worked up, almost causing anxiety. Do you have any suggestions as to chill weed. I don't want to smoke and fall asleep, but I don't want to smoke and have anxiety either. I think as I've become older my body chemicals have changed. Now that I'm older I just want to chill. I don't mind doing stuff when I'm stoned but I don't want to feel rushed inside, I like the chill feeling.

Dude, if you go on Seedsman or SeedSupreme, you see that they provide pretty good information about all the strains. I keep a list of my strains like this so I can choose what I need to grow for next time:

                    EUFORIA DP 8-10 wks 100-150cm 20% THC
Genetics: '96 Skunk; Afgh x Mex x Colomb
Effects: Euforic, relaxing, relieves stress and pain. heavy yield

                    G13 HAZE BF 9-10 wks 100-110cm, compact 1st prize HTCC '07 22%THC
                    Genetics: G13 (70% BLD) x Hawaiian NLD
Effects: Cerebral, calming. Allow buds to fatten @ 10 weeks.

GORILLA (GG#4) Dinafem 8+wks Tall" THC 25% low CBD
Genetics: Chocolate Diesel x Chem Sister and Sour Dubb; prune lower branches
Effects: Powerfully relaxing Does not like lots of nutes.

GREAT WHITE SHARK GHS 9-10 wks Med" THC 15%, CBD 2%
Genetics: Super Skunk x Braz x South Indian
                    Effects: Pain-killer, stoned and long-lasting.

GREEN CRACK Cali Con 8+wks Tall; train well THC 15-20%
Genetics: Skunk #1 x unknown Indica This is the real deal Cecil C Green Crack Aka Cush.
Effects: mentally invigorating, fights fatigue, stress, depression.

JACK HERER GHS 8+wks Med" High THC
Genetics: Haze x Red Skunk (sk pheno); Bring pH back down to 5.5; 60-70% RH during veg
Effects: strong and complex; pain reduction

I personally believe that any strain will produce "racey" effects if harvested too soon. I don't care for that effect or for couch-lock; I like a very cerebral and physically relaxing high, and that's what I get if I harvest in the harvest window.

ATU has got the info! I also agree with the timing of the harvest playing a large role.

So, myself, I find smoking less assists in not going over the edge into anxiety. I get names more frequently these days, of those I've enjoyed: Forbidden Fruit, Girl Scout Cookies, Banana Tangle, Lemon/Grapefruit Kush, Zkittlez, . Girl Scout Cookies has got to be the most common purchase for the past 10years.

I enjoy hybrids myself, and can work out of a couch lock, I don't go for full Sativa if I have the choice. It's really different person to person, and the way in which you toke or ingest. I am a bong toker, which has caused a lot of my friends to have anxiety in their high, as they're not used to the volume at one time.
