    Is a misting tower okay?

moving one of the girls outside but it's gonna be HOT! out there..expect a few days around 30 degrees C. (86 F.) or 39 degrees C. (102 F.) with the humidity over the next week or so..my question: would it be okay to use a misting tower to try to keep her a bit cooler or would any mist on the leaves cause a problem?

I took the day off work, and was just reading about how commercial growers in hot areas will use a misting fan. In doing so, they can effectively lower the temperature. Ah, found it! Picture attatched. It mentions using strings of '5-micron misters' working the same way.

I mist the plants that I have here on hot days, in the morning and again in the afternoon (12 or 4pm, both if it's above 100, means running home at lunch). Worth noting that am not dealing with already high humidity levels though. I also use a handheld spray bottle that I fill with tap that I have let sit out.

duckman, I'm not sure how far in the grow you are. But I would advise against misting if you are in flowering. You will invite bud rot.

I am high humidity here, misters have little effect other than maybe raising the humidity further, on low humidity days they work great, I have not used them on my plants!

thanks to all for the advice...I'm thinking misting is good if it's hot and dry, not so much if it's humid and as kingfish says be real careful with it in flowering to avoid bud rot...
