ok this is my first run. I've setup big shows and helped trimming, never done the growing. i started from bagseed that i got from a buddy. he thinks the bag the seeds came from was Blue Cheese. i started germinating 4 seeds, 3 popped within a couple days and went into Promix on Nov, 26. the fourth finally sprouted and went into Promix Nov, 28. buddy that gave me the seeds also gave me the bare minimum stuff i needed to startup the 16" x 16" x 48" tent i bought from him. which meant the last seed is in a grow bag thats only about half full of dirt.
i have since upgraded to a bigger tent and picked up some more gear. when i went into dirt i hung a 300w LED over top and had that on them until this past weekend. then i hung the 1000w LED that i picked up over them. i did have a little issue with being to close and since raised the light.
i cant remember if i noticed the drooping before or after i switched the lights. but it has definitely gotten worse in the last few days. i dont have control of the heat in my place, so regulating temp has been a little bit of an issue, but other than once or twice since i started i have kept it between 75 - 81. i definitely have low humidity, i need to fix that. i made a tray out of aluminum foil and had that on the floor of the tent and that was helping a bit. I've also started misting the girls with water a couple times a day. my tap water is 7ph and after adding nutrients its 6ph. thats using a test tube and solution with a colour match card. my digital ph and tds meters havent arrived yet.
I've noticed that the drooping is usually worst near the end of the light cycle. but not always. also, I've seen them go back and forth from drooping to standing tall a couple times a day. i may have been giving a little too much nutrient, this afternoon i gave them a splash of straight water and they perked right within a half hour. so next time they get nutrient i will dial back how much they get.
looking at the leaves i can't tell if it's nutrient burn, nitrogen problem, a stress issue, or a watering problem. I've watched them perk up and droop back down probably 3 times today. check out the pics and let me know what your opinions are.
