Starting week 9 on Sunday. Trichomes aren't quite there yet. Giving more time. Buds are hard as rock.

Gotta check the trichomes outside the tent. Better under natural light. That yellow light won't let you see the amber trichomes. But yeah. Kinda look ready to me

How will you know for sure if you sorted out the apical dominance?

          Thanks man.

The supercropped one I can see will be a struggle. It has a weird looking fade going on which I think is a result of supercropping but if I can manage it I will.

Fun part about supercropping is watching everything turn up after. 🤣 Managing the plants can be such a hassle once the stretch begins so I feel ya.

        Update, 28 days since switch!

            What week is this?

By my calculations I'm at 70 days since spouting....

          Comment

One week after flip, mainly a test grow. I'm trying to veg with MegaCrop and flower with Jacks. I plan to change nutes after the third week of flower.

Also, I've come to the conclusion my watering habits are an issue. I don't over water, but feel like I allow the medium to overdry to the point of nute deficiencies. Currently I dry to the point where the pot is light, but I noticed that is also the point the medium shrinks away from the wall of the pots. My belief is that I'm allowing fine feeder roots to die, in addition to keeping nutes from the plants for too long (synth watered in).

I've never had a grow go perfectly in flower, always fighting deficiencies and concluded this is most likely my issue. I purchased ecowitt sensors, and have been using them over the last month. It seems the sweet spot is 15-22% to water. Any lower than 15% and the medium starts shrinking.

            Wish me luck!

Getting closer...the one on the right will win the race. And need I remind you those ladies are grown 100% organic..never checked ph once and watered straight from the tap.

"Girl Scout Cookies plants produce dense buds with dark green foliage, dark purple accents, and fiery orange hairs. The plants have a high trichome density, which explains GSC's potency."

Genetics play a role, so does lighting. I pay real close to my light and ppfd. Almost ocd about it.

Dang,I can’t believe this thread is still going strong! It should get an award 😂
