    Buds too heavy

So i have some bud sites that are too heavy for the stem to support. Does this happen to anyone else and what do you do to correct it? I have heard of the yo-yo's but was wanted other people's input.

sweet that's the coolest problem ive seen on here to date. so far not a problem for me but my buddy used string and tied em up as best he could. once he got the yo yo's he switched. said string worked but he was a lot happier with yo yo's. easier to adjust when he wanted. nice job on those they look beautiful

How close are you to harvest?

What needs to happen throughout the grow is , as much light as possible over as much of the plant as possible. Hence, the creation of canopies.
In this case, tying the buds "up" may be a good choice or using a few stakes to tie to.

Yesterday I had to tie the colas down, around a cage, to get an even canopy- with just a few weeks left before harvest- then I dropped the light to get more even spread of light on more buds.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

Beautiful Tersky. I just stick some bamboo stakes to hold them up. That is a good problem to have. BTW those are some fat ass buds.

I do DWC and use bamboo sticks please observe! You could just strap the support sticks to the OUTSIDE of your res. use bungee straps EASY FIX.

Had the same problem (although, it's not what I would call a bad problem!) with the last grow. The plant support yo-yos are very good. They can be fixed (a little plug in the hub locks the line in place) or left free to allow some movement. They are cheap (mine cost $1.60 each) and easy to install.

Nebula has a post on GWE with pics from her first grow where the plant got so big and the buds so heavy she had to attach something to the ceiling to hold the buds up... Here's the picture: http://www.growweedeasy.com/sites/gr...-too-tall2.jpg

Would that work? Beautiful freakin fat buds, dude!!!!!!!!
