With the hot summer months approaching, I decided to flower both of my tents and start a new crop late fall ish. It'll be easier than trying to deal with the heat. So my question is, can I use my 600W Metal Halide bulb to flower in the 1 tent? Or will I need to go buy an HPS? I know it's not ideal, but does it affect the plants that much? I can live with a slightly smaller, or slightly lesser quality of a yield, I just don't want to be disappointed when it's time to crop.

HPS will bring in a larger yield. Bud quality is better with both going at the same time.

I don't remember what brand I have in my usual budding tent. But I just finished up 2 plants that were a bit under a foot and a half each. After drying and everything I got 4.5 ounces.
