    HYDRO Droopy leaves

Greetings fellow growers. I’m a reasonably experienced grower. I do DWC in a 4 x 4 x 80 tent. This grow I’m doing under LED. It is my first try at growing a high CBD low THC strain. For all of my previous grows and this one I have followed the feed chart for the nutrients I use found here at GWE. I have NEVER had a sickly looking plant before now. This little girl just doesn’t look happy. I run my PH between 5.7 - 6.0 and this plant so far has not been above 475 PPM. I just did my weekly water/nutrient change for the beginning of week 6 and this is what she looks like. She was topped at the 5th node a few weeks back and defoliated today. I’d appreciate any thoughts you may have towards what may be causing this.

I had some droopy problems caused by my fan. Adjusted my fan and they would look way better the next day.

Probably not the case but I remember having a problem where my drip line became plugged and didn’t catch it till much later but you could check just in case.

Howdy Bigpapa, I'm just finishing up my eighth DWC grow and the plants (leaves) always get a little 'droopy' just after the nutrient change as well as during the dark cycle. It would be beneficial if You could post some photos of the plant with natural light, to better to see if there might be other factors to consider. The droopy leaves could be caused by a mineral deficiency or from algae and or root rot as well. What are the water and air temperatures? The PPM that You list seems a little low according to the feeding schedule that I have been using. I have been using the RDWC chart from General Hydroponics, which shows a PPM of 1000 to 1400 (in mid to late vegetative growth). What nutrients are You using? I would also let the pH range from 5.5 to 6.5 as some of the nutrients are better absorbed at different pH levels.

The leaves have a “taco” look to them so possibly heat stress or too close to a strong fan. I’ve also seen a similar droop when my Led’s are too close so that’s another possibility.
Failure is an opportunity for improvement!!

The roots sitting in the netted pot might be struggling. I highly suggest a top feed for your setup as the hydroton looks really dry.
