Hydro Air Pump advise

Hello,

looking for for some advise on how powerful of a air pump per plant in a hydro setup one needs? Looking at building four bubbler buckets in 5 gallon buckets and not sure how big a air pump I need. I see a lot of pumps with four outlets with a max power of 15 l per min. Any advise on this would be great!

I use 8 l/m for every 5 gallon bucket. So for 4 buckets... I would have 2 of these pumps in the link. I would connect 2 nozzles to one air stone. So each pump would have 2 air stones (or service 2 buckets). Make sure to place the air pumps outside of the grow room if possible. Don’t want to pump hot air into those buckets.

No prob. I just used the 4” ones like this.
They did deteriorate over time so get more than you need. They are cheap thankfully.

Thanks again!! How often do you change the water nutrient mix in your 5 gallon buckets? Sorry I have a lot of questions

Hey no prob. I shoot for every other week. I have let the strains that are not as fussy go longer. Just got to keep a good eye on them if you don’t know how they will react already.
