    Light schedule

Hello all I have a hps grow and my light did not turn off this morning I didn't catch it right away so im going to let it run 24 hours light then back to its 12/12 I no this is not ideal plus I'm breeding some seeds so I guess my question is what should I expect Hermie, stress, reverting nothing?

giving 24 hours of darkness then going back to 12/12 might be better. Just my opinion

I think your right because it would be better for longer night than days being I'm in the flowering stage but my light has alrdy been running much longer than 12 hours and I need my light to be on at night I could work it back hour by hour but the light has been on almost 24 hours do u think I should still turn it off for 24?

I don't have any experience with photo plants or having to play with light schedules sorry. I've only one a 24/0 Auto grow. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will come along shortly

Agreed. Always give them a minimum of 12 hours dark per cycle. More is ok. Less is not.

Its fucked up its not only 24 hours of light. After that the cycle starts again so they gonna be under 36 uninterrupted light. Enough to revert to veg or at least mixed signals. I would turn it off right now. Give it more than 12 hours of darkness until you reach the desire schedule

Hopefully you have some stable genetics, should be ok, just don't let it happen again.... I'm sure you won't.

Malfunction/pwr outage: Just for closure I believe it's best practice in flowering to remain dark for at least hours then resume your normal 12/12 schedule. For veg get the light on as soon as stable power is available and resume normal photo period at time of your choosing.
