So I'm trying something a bit different this grow. My last grow I topped multiple times but didn't do much training and things got a bit out of control. This time I'm manifolding and mainlining. I topped the girls yesterday and did some LST today. My question is should I leave them how they are in the picture or should I take the bottom branches off as well? I'm looking to achieve an even canopy with maximum yeilds in my 6x6 area with 4 plants. I'm able to grow my plants to a maximum of 5 feet tall. I'll also be using 6inch nylon netting for support.

If you are mainlining them... you remove the lower 2 branches. Once the 2 top grow apart, you top them into 4... then repeat the process on the 4 to get 8 tops.4x4 600w HID empty for summer

I was reading a thread the other day and it had mentioned something about quadlining and how it produced better yeilds. Would what I have done to the plants so far be considered quadlining?

Better yields than mainlining, or better than traditional methods of plant training?
Never tried quadlining... can always give it a shot. Let us know how it turns out for ya.
Just a thought... I read mainlining worked so well because it evenly distributed weight and nutrients. Branches above and below each other on the stem do not receive an equal amount of nutrients. One end always dominates over another.Last edited by Toker1; 01-29-2019, 09:37 PM.
