    Hi Bujkem

Droopy is a water problem so be good with watering not to much, never let it sit in water they drown

If you can keep light on 24/7 for the baby veg state they grow faster

Don't cover the baby any more at all

Do PH test on water and on the water coming out (the runoff) keep it at 6.00

Have fun if you love her she will love you back!

Agree with previous responses...relax, give it time to get its roots growing strong, don't water too much, and blow it many CO2 kisses. 😊

Funny! At first I thought I was a little kooky wanting to breathe as much on my plants...now I feel they would feel neglected without this intimate bonding! 💚

bujkem, here are some things I thought you might find useful. Some will disagree with my methods. All I can say is that there are many different ways to grow and you will find your own way in time. I grow outdoors, but this should be applicable to indoor soil grows as well. For a good starting soil get the best potting soil you can find and add 30% perlite After my seedlings get 2 or 3 sets of leaves I give them a little 2-4-2 starter fertlizer. Through veg I feed them 7-2-2 or 7-4-2. Bloom I feed 2-7-2 or 4-10-7 depending on my mood. I usually start my plants in Rapid Rooters or similar, then to 4" pots, then 1-3-5-10 gals as appropriate. Sometimes I go from RR straight to 1 gal and on up, but it's probably better to go to 4" first.. Transplant up when you can gently pop the plant and root ball out of the old pot and observe that the roots have nicely filled the pot. If they're wrapping around the inside of the pot, you waited too long. If your plant is rootbound you can do one of two things to fix the problem...1. With a sharp knife shave a little off the outside of the whole root ball, thus removing the wrapped up roots. Be gentle. Do it when the root ball is damp, not dry. Repot. It will shock your plant to some degree, but it will recover. 2. Remove rootbound plant from pot. Gently swish in a bucket of water or rinse gently with a water hose to remove all the soil. Fill pot part way with soil making a little moutain in the middle. Add plant and smooth roots down the sides of the mountain. Fill with soil. This also will stress your plant, but not as much as cutting the roots. This is standard, routine nursery practice for repotting any plant. If your seedling is stretching and your stem is weak it's not getting enough light. To prevent a stretchy seedling from drooping over or actually breaking put 3 bamboo skewers around your seedling, attach plant ties to bamboo skewers, not to plant itself, making a little fence. It will eventually toughen up. Generally, water your plants when you can stick a finger in the soil up to your first joint and the soil is dry. If it's still wet at that depth, don't water. In the summer, outside, I have to water twice a day in the hot part of the summer. Indoors under lights probably once every few days, depending on pot size. Observe your plants carefully and over time you will learn to see what they need. If your soil is pulling away from the inside of your pot, your plant is too dry. Your soil will do for now. Add perlite when you repot. Be sparing with nutrients. At this point your plant should need little if any. I used to fertilize by a half-assed schedule, now I only fertilize when my plants start getting a little pale. The best thing you can do is follow mcruderalis' LIA advice. Many more plants have died from people messing with them than have died from leaving them alone. Hope some of this was helpful Now you know everything I know about growing dope. Be patient. Good luck on your grow.

mcruderalis...Thanks for the great tip on the clear/colored Dixie cups. That's gonna be helpful in the spring and beyond.
I forgot to say that whatever you repot, you should pack the soil firmly around the root mass as you fill the pot. Make sure you leave room in the pot at the top for water, then water gently. Don't leave the soil loose, then water, then backfill, then water, etc. until you get the right soil/plant depth. Too much trouble if you have any quantity of plants to repot. Repot it right once then leave it alone until it's time to repot again.
Which reminds me...I did an experiment last year with my pots. I have always used 10 gallon black plastic nursery pots for my plants. Friends kept telling me to try fabric pots, so I got some. I also got some 10 gallon white plastic grow bags online from Home Depot (think thick garbage bag) (they don't sell them in stores for some reason). All the plants were pretty much treated equally. Nursery pots and fabric pots performed about the same, plant-growth wise. Fabric pots waste lots of water. Surprisingly I found that the Home Depot white bags did best of all. Better root development, more robust growth, and better yield. All white bags for me next year. FWIW.

Guys , have a question? I transplanted my mj into bigger pot with some coconot fiber +lava crushed stone for aeration+ base soil with some compost , and i added a table spoon of organic fertilizer 8-5-5 (slow realesing up to 1 weeks ) as guy from the store suggested after a day my seedling got straight leaves again second pair is coming out really nice , i dont want to jinx it but think everything is going nice and i feel she is healthy. BUT there is problem , in 5 days i have to go out of country and i am not going to be here for 15 days and i am aware its maybe crucial period of plants life , have i friend who ll come every two three days to water it and already have light timer . what do u think ? shoud i make to my friend spraying bottle of seaweed fertilizer and tell im on every third day to spray on leaves or something that will make sure my plant will survive ????????
