Using UV light to kill powdery mildew

Has anyone had any luck using a UV light to kill powdery mildew.

Actually just read an article on using an ozone generator for this purpose. Not that this helps answer your question.... Though the premise would be the same in some ways.

      Or a sulfur burner

I would rather control it with air circulation, proper humidity, and a exhaust fan then have to kill it.

Would be like cutting the back lawn with a set of nail clippers. You would need to be with in a few inches with your uv-c source for several hours. The reason it would not work is because WPM spores are made to spread out all over your grow room. Mr.furley has the right idea on environmental controls.

And remember once it has settled “roots” in a plant you can eradicate the visible mildew and change the environment to maintain the fungi dormant but it will live forever on that plant, almost systemic like a virus, if it’s not making spores it will not spread but if you don’t change the environment it will come back 100 times
