Fox farms bloom

When using the bloom additive from fox farms I can’t seem to keep this additive from splitting and settling at bottom of nutrients tank , I added a water pump to try and keep this mixed and no joy, is there a special way to mix this additive ? See pic below

I use an air pump with an air stone at the bottom of the reservoir. Helps out a bit... but the sand will always be an issue. As long as you are cleaning out the reservoir every few weeks, should be fine.

I think you are using too much, but don’t trust what I say I’m new to fox farms trio, I’ve been using it for a month, grow / tiger at 5ml per gal and big bloom at 10ml/gal to keep ph in range. I add big bloom first and mix excessively. There is always a few grains of “minerals” down the bottom of my bucket but not like your picture

I added a water pump a few days ago to keep the solution moving 500l/ph in a 30 litre res which is over kill but solution still settles within a few hours - it dose not seem to be causing harm to the growth of plant

Are you shaking the bottle before dispensing the nutrients out?

I was trying to mix in a coke bottle vigorously before adding to res, I’m also using 10ml per gallon of the bloom , I thought if I mixed it in a bottle before hand it might make it better , that pic of bottle was just for an example - see pic below of my red

It won’t harm anything unless you are running drip lines (or something similar that clogging becomes an issue). But this sediment (most likely form the guano collection process), can easily be filtered out of the drip lines. Or will be removed during regular reservoir changes/cleaning.

Na, the sediment has no nutritional value. It’s just a biproduct of collecting the guano. Almost impossible for the guano to not have it. Unless filtering it out..which would be costly and have no improvement value.

And yes I am running a drip feeder - Wilma 4 pot but am not getting any clogging

The sediment can build over time inside the drip lines and drip emitters. So if you set up a simple filter in the nutrient tank right before the drip line entry, this will remove the sediment and keep your lines clear. You just have to clean the filter every so often.
