Is your box next to a heat source. Ha the light bulb just went off lol I know what it is when you get a cigar humidor you have to prep it by soaking the cedar after that it will maintain its humidity but not if you dont prep it so before you put plants in it try pouring in a quart of water and try to get every service covered good and wet then dump out whats left I bet it will be a lot less that a quart

I use a swamp cooler. Just get the right size for the room size and RH levels.

I only plan putting 2 plants in it. I am about to put seedlings in it soon as they are about 3 inches tall and have some roots showing through the rockwool.

Thank you again for your help.

how many plants are you going to grow in that box ,I hate to be disappointing but in my personal opinion its really not be enough , as far as humidity is there a plant in it now I think once its running you will see a big difference good luck

Thank you for your help. I have another question about humidity. I cannot get my humidity level above 16%.
I have tried a bowl of water, a wet rag, and increased temperatures. I am using a grow box 4ft tall , 16 inches wide and 9 inches deep.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance

You can place them the system now... but they still need the top feed system to survive. If you place them in a bubbleponics system, you might need to hand water until the roots get bigger.

As far as Lighting goes for autos I have found conflicting information on the internet. Which is better 18/6 , 20/4 ,24/0 seedlings, vegatation, and flowering?

I am using DWC in a grow box that is 4ft tall , 16 in wide and 9 inches deep I am having a huge issue with low humidity. Any advice there before I pull out all my hair would also be appreciated. My humidity stays between 16-20% regardless of how high the temperature is. I have tried wet rags inside, bowl of water and I still can't get it above 20%. I am worried about putting the seedlings inside once they are ready.

Agree with OJH, you will need to hand-water them until you get roots dropping.

You should wait until they are showing roots if they have long enough roots to reach the water your all set
