Is there a Hydroponics store near by? That would probably be the best place to get your DWC hardware. The founders of GWE and administrators of this forum are DWC people. They use and recommend General Hydroponics nutrients, They are master gardeners with many successful grows and many saved grows of our members to their credit. Their web page and this forum can be mined for anything you will know about cannabis farming.

Post pictures of everything about your set up, what strain you are going to grow, and most important your plants growing. It gives me great joy to see healthy plants grow. and count on getting lots of responses, most positive and helpful, a few not really negative just not particularly helpful.

God forbid something go wrong disease, accident, random act of nature like a power outage, insects, or just what is this, Am I doing OK ? Post a picture of it. Someone in the forum probably several people will know what to do.

That is definitely a very expensive setup! I'm not sure exactly which one you're looking at, but I found this one, which I imagine is somewhat similar, though it does cost less than what you listed. You mentioned you were interested in Kind LEDs, so that would definitely explain the price difference!

I think this type of setup is cool in that it's all-in-one, but it is going to take just as much setup at home as buying the parts separately. As far as a 9x9 tent, It's going to be very difficult to get to the plants in the back once the whole tent is filled with big plants. I also think you might consider putting a few less plants in there, as 24 is a lot for that space! Personally, I think it's easier to have two (or even more considering how much space you have) separate grow spaces as opposed to one giant one, since you have a lot more flexibility to get to the plants, or do different things with them (for example you could have a vegetative and flowering chamber so you get a perpetual harvest), but I can see the appeal to such a large setup with all the plants in one big tent, and in some situations that's the way to go!

I priced the above example out on Amazon if anyone is interested. The original is $4,999.95.

      TentGrow Lights
      • $600 - Four 600w HPS SuperCool Lighting Systems. In this type of tent I personally believe you will get better results with 600W over 1000W. It's a very American thing to go for 1000W lights, but 3 x 600W (total of 1800W) will usually get a better yield than 2 x 1000W (total 2000W) because they can be kept closer to the plants (so less light is lost) and spread out more evenly over the plants. Additionally, 600W HPS grow lights are the most electrically efficient of all the lights (most amount of light produced per watt). Here's what they mean by four 600W HPS Lighting Systems:
      • $520 - Four Sunlight Supply Blazer 6″ AC Reflectors - I couldn't find this particular hood on Amazon so I linked to it on a different website - I personally like the 6" Hydrocrunch Air-Cooled Hood as well, which is quite a big cheaper, though honestly any "air-cooled hood" will do the job! The price I listed is for four Blazer hoods.
Odor Control, Air Circulation and Exhaust
      • $16 - 6" Ducting - they didn't list this one, but it likely is included and you definitely need to get some
      • $125 - Phresh Carbon Filter - You want a 6" one to match the size of the ducting. You may end up needing more than one depending on how many plants you grow, though it looks like you only get one with the kit, and one carbon filter could do the job at least for a little while if you set it up right.
      • $60 - Two ActiveAir Internal Circulation Fans
      • $170 - Two Hurricane Inline Fans - you want 6" to match the ducting and hood. They don't say how many exhaust fans they include, but it looks like they include two - one to exhaust the air for each set of two hoods. You might need more fans to help push air in if you're having trouble cooling. So you might need two more to use as intake fans (pushing in cold air from the intake holes), but I listed the price for two since that's likely what you'd start with.
      Hydro Buckets
      • $1500 - 24 Site Bubble Flow Buckets - I found this on another website as I couldn't find anything like it on Amazon. It's not the exact same thing, but very similar. These are almost always made in house, since all the parts are really cheap. The hardest part is making sure everything fits together and doesn't leak.
      NutrientsAccessoriesSupport
      • I'm not sure what kind of support they have, but we also have lots of support here!
      Total: $4,417

So you'd save about $500 if you wanted to copy their system exactly. So definitely less savings that I originally expected!

However, this is just priced on Amazon, and I'm certain you could find everything cheaper if you shopped around online. I hope it kind of gives you an idea of where to start, and help you compare different kits.

Like the others have said, if you can possibly get to a Hydroponics store, you will almost always get a deep discount if you buy a lot of things like this! Amazon is convenient but if you live in or near a big city it's definitely worth considering driving to a hydro store and checking out what they got

I would go setting up my own build with such a budget!!I have almost all i need for just under 900 with a 4x4 room!Look for everything you might want, medium, light movers, strips, wire, sono boxes, ducting, nutes the whole lot,A-Z there is no complete box that will give you EVERYTHING you need!!Do you want to have automated control for temps and humidity? Will you use Co2? Hydro DWC? You name it...It took me 4 months of ripping up paper sheets and re-writting the list...moved from soil to hydro and from organic to chem nutes in that time..Depends what you want to do...Just don't walk in a store and say you want to give them 9k....

Did someone say 9K for grow room and all the stuff might I recommend a smaller starting point seeing as your new to this. It's very easy to get overwhelmed down the line. It's easy to plant seeds, but with the size you mentioned a lot of time and att. Must be given for success. That being said it could be done a lot cheaper.
any way welcome to the wonderful world of weed! Luck to you!

I have to give away most of what I grow. No way we could use it all. My setup cost about 5 hundred.
                ok, so I'm a cheapskate...
But 9k? 9x9? I'd get lost inside and never come out.
                God bless you.
