Okay so im trying to figure out here is....is this company labeling theyre lights based on the actual watts? Because they have the 200 all the way to 1000 labeled in the actual item name. And when you look at the actual power draw from the wall, its either equal too or greater than the wattage labeled in the name. But, if you look at the "led watt" its like double or more of the "actual watts"...

What's up juicy it's been a while ..the black dog IS a good light the wattage would probably be 200 true watts and I'm guessing 1000 or 1200 watts simulated but none the less a great light ..friend of mine had a kind that decided to stop working after 6 years so he decided to go with the black dog 600 and says nothing but good things about it ..me I just picked up a Chinese knock off of some combo cob/led 200 watt true power and 1200 simulated called aglex did one grow beginning to end and blew away my 2 viparspectra 300 watt not true lights.have a look I attached a pic.1 Photo

So you said it blew past your two 300w viparspectra? Can i ask what you paid? Cause i just did the same thing but mines "600w" and it was only like $40? Its bright as hell tho! I actually have 3 seedlings under it right now and they actually seem to be doing quite well. But i would like more w/m2 for flower

Says origin USA, but are all components actually manufactured in the USA? I question whether the LEDs are. My $750 Weber grill claimed manufacture in the USA, but the first part to fail was the regulator which clearly had China stamped on it. Maybe country of assembly is more an accurate term than origin. If the LEDs are of the same variety as the Chinese branded i don't believe the price can be justified. More research is in order.

Your money your choice .. I've seen these lights in action ..if I had the money I would buy one instead of a cheapy ..it's like I'm one step behind you.. I'll eventually save up and buy my self one as for the specs on the light they could say assembled in America instead of built in America you truely don't know.

Well i did read up a little. Cree and Osram are the led companys they use. Based out of US and Germany. They seem pretty legit. Just the whole company in general saying they've developed theyre own led tech basically. Idk, i did see one review where a person ordered one and 1/4 of the panel didnt work. Guess defects happen. Maybe ill just flip a coin! Lol
